The owners have owned an adjacent beach home for over 22 years and when this home became available for sale they purchase the home in 2010. Immediately they updated and remodel the house in 2010 and invested over $400,000 in remodeling. From new appliances, new bathrooms, hardwood floors, new airconditioning, decks, porches, hurricane shades, and total painting inside and out the home is like new. Each bedroom has its own private bath. A two sided fireplace seperates the living and dining ares. The downstairs bunkroom and hide-a-bed is great for kids or overflow guests, but does not have a bathroom. This is not your ordinary beach home. This 2500 square foot home has every luxury but with hardwood floors and tropical colors has a 'beachy' casual feel.
The biggest feature of course is the beach. With a screened porch on the beach it is a great place for dining or grilling out on the provided gas grill. A few steps down from the screened porch is an open deck for sunning and watching the sunsets. Then a few steps down from there you are on the beach!
You won't be disappointed with a vacation at this lovely beach cottage.

I am a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida and I rent this home for long term clients. I only have two beach rentals so I am not a big 'rental company' . My other rental is a larger home also on the beach that is rented on a monthly basis or longer (no annual) I work with a limited number of clients helping them rent or buy to find their place in the sun .
Holly Gregor purchased this house in 2010
The owners have been vacationing on Bonita Beach for over 27 years and purchased their first home here about 22 years ago. Why here? The beach and casual lifestyle. It is the Carribbean without the travel! Restaurants galore, shopping, golf, fishing, boating, the beach and the warm sun. What more can you ask for during a cold and dreary winter in the northern lattitudes?
Wake up and go to sleep with the sound of waves from the gentle Gulf of Mexico. Sunsets on your own porch. A morning swim by walking out your door. Dolphin sightings from your home. No snow shoveling!!
Just a short note of thanks for getting our family into this wonderful house on the beach!! My mother was beside herself with joy, and at 80 she actually did a little jump and dance when her toes hit the sand the first morning! She said she couldn't wait to get her feet in the water...so we did in robes with coffee cups in hand! It was just lovely to wake up every morning and sit on that porch and watch the porpoise and manatee swim by. Yep, manatee! A few of them actually. Anyway we grilled and ate and just enjoyed being together with family. We have decided that we need to this more often, and possibly around the same time next year in your lovely beach house. I will be in touch again.
The home was comfortable and the location couldn't be better; dolphins right outside the deck, amazing views, restaurants within walking distance and a lovely community. The real estate agency that you work with when booking this home are top-notch; we will definitely be utilizing them again when in search for a rental and they are happy and helpful to assist. However, be warned: the Property Manager will enter the home as she sees fit and if she happens to catch young children in the middle of the day being loud by running and laughing, she will be quite irritated with you and embellish a story to the *actual* homeowner in an effort to have you "banned" from renting again. So we would not recommend this property for families AT ALL. In addition, after booking the dates 5 months before our arrival and drawing up a lease *and* sending in the initial payment, the Property Manager decided to raise the price 1 month prior to our trip, knowing full well that finding another property with only 4 weeks notice would be next to impossible. The home was nicely decorated and met our needs; comfortable - however, there were several minor things wrong - many of the beach chairs were rusted and one leg even broke off; the cushions were very badly ripped and the dishwasher top rack was broken. Not a big deal really, but when added to the Property Manager entering at her own free will and judging you based on a moment in time, it all adds up to be not the best experience. There are many homes along this area and in the vicinity; if you have kids and/or if you like to laugh and play in the sand, maybe select another home.
We just stayed at this home for a week with our family and it truly exceeded our expectations!
It's an amazing home with all the possible comforts you look for in a rental plus very tastefully decorated and in pristine condition (superb maintenance). We also loved the community--very peaceful and with easy access to shopping and area attractions. The beachfront location is spectacular--enjoyed many sunsets and got to see dolphin in the afternoons. Thanks to Jeff and his staff for making it a most memorable stay; we thoroughly enjoyed it and we are totally ready to go back!
