This fully upgraded upstairs unit overlooks the pool, and is steps away from all amenities on site. Granite countertops in kitchen and bath. Living room has a 32' flat screen TV with DirecTV and DVD player and WIFI. Lots of closet space, including a big walk-in closet in the master bedroom. No land line, so bring your cell phone.
Twin Lakes State Beach is one of the more private beaches in the area, and is only 2 blocks away. And for convenience, there's a Dollar Store, small grocery store, and restaurants a block or two away.
When you've had enough of relaxing at the beach or pool, the work-out room awaits you.
Laundry facility is steps away. Pay for use by credit card.
Want to get away to a bigger / different city? San Jose (check out the Winchester Mystery House) and Carmel-Monterey (don't miss the Monterery Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row) are 45 minutes away, and San Francisco is only a 90 minute drive.

We love to go places where we feel at home while experiencing a new area. One of our favorite things to do in Santa Cruz during the summer is attend the free concerts at the Boardwalk. Each year a variety of bands play on Friday nights. It doesn't get much better than stretching out on your blanket, and listening to a concert while the sun sets over the Pacific. And now, the Boardwalk is offering free movies on the beach on Wednesday nights!

Step outside your door and the pool awaits you. Or, take a walk along the forested lagoon a few steps to the rear of the complex. You can walk along the beach or down the road to great restaurants (like the Crows Nest); or drive 5 minutes to Capitola. After a day of shopping or sightseeing or enjoying the rides at the Beach Boardwalk, take a short walk to the beach and enjoy the sunset. Depending on the timing of your stay, you may even see dolphins, sea lions, or whales near shore or fireworks on the beach!

We can't say enough about Barbara and Dave...very warm and welcoming. Condo was immaculate with all amenities you could think of....even OJ, muffins, wine and snacks when we got there! (Much appreciated just off the plane from Europe!) Location was perfect for beach, walking, restaurants, groceries. We will definitely use them again for company coming to the area.
Our lovely place
Stayed here over summer break with my husband and two kids, we had a wonderful time. The condo is beautiful, from the spacious living room to the master-bedroom, everything was top notch. So calm, beautiful, comfortable and nice. Amazing redwoods all around the condos. Pool and gym.
We are surfers and we spent most days at the beach and in the ocean 🏄🌞Took walks to the harbor, shops and nearby restaurants. The kids loved ending the day sitting on the balcony with a hot chocolate. It was a month we keep thinking back to. It was heaven!
This place is great! It has almost everything you need for an outstanding vacation. Great outdoor fire pit and grills.

Like living in our own home!
Our experience at the condo at Swan Lakes Complex in Santa Cruz was beyond our expectations. We had researched extensively other properties to stay at for the month of August 2015, while we visited with our son and his family, who live in Santa Cruz. Value, location, amenities, and most important clean and modern were of priority to us. Since we live in New Jersey, our son and daughter-in-law checked out five other properties for us that we had identified. These properties were in their words, "like living in Grandma's house." The facilities were worn and in need of renovations for the price we were willing to pay. Once my daughter-on-law, stepped into the Swan Lake condo she knew that this was the place we would want. Barbara and Dave, the owners, were easy to deal with and very attentive to making sure our stay was perfect. Once, we settled in to the condo, it was like living in our own home. It met my white glove inspection of cleanliness and modern. Everything was like new. The kitchen was outfitted with everything you would need and all items were like new. There was ample towels, sheets, cleaning supplies, beach chairs, etc. Everything you would need. We did not have to go buy anything. The pool was right outside our door step and was used everyday by our grandson. As we have been to Santa Cruz, well over ten times since our son located in the area after college, we are very familiar with the sights and sounds of the area. We are drawn to the beautiful beaches, walking paths, restaurants, weather, and the life style in general. Staying at the condo at Swan Lakes Complex was our home away from home! You will not be disappointed in this property and what the area has to offer.
Beautiful condo, wonderful hosts
We had an amazing stay at the condo on the Swan Lakes Complex in Santa Cruz. We are an English family of four and had travelled extensively through South America before arriving at the condo. We were met by Barbara and Dave who were the most accommodating and gracious hosts. The condo was beautifully decorated and had every home comfort which was so welcoming. The complex is extremely well equipped with a lovely outdoor pool and gym. It is also very close to the lovely Twin Lakes Beach which was always a hub of activity. Swan Lakes was also a really friendly place to stay and it was great to get to know some of the people who lived there. We spent an idyllic month in Santa Cruz using it as our base to visit the scenic Central Coast of California. It was a real wrench to leave but we will be back and would not hesitate to recommend the condo.
Wonderful Winter Getaway!
We had the opportunity to sneak away from the midwest winter for 6 weeks in Jan and Feb. We were very fortunate to find this condo as it was perfect for our needs. It was equipped with anything we wanted or needed for our stay. Perfect location, steps away from the beach, heated swimming pool and a workout room, (which was updated while we were there). The small balcony provided a quiet spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine and listen to the crashing surf.
We were just a short drive from the Monterey Bay area sights, wineries and Redwood forests. The area has some great restaurants and shopping just a short drive away and a fun Farmers market within walking distance on Sundays.
The owner met us upon arrival, walked us through the condo and it's features and surprised us with some "welcome goodies". The condo has been well maintained and updated. The owners had prepared the condo with toiletries , paper goods and cleaning supplies so we didn't have to rush out immediately to find a grocery.
The condo complex itself was quiet and also very well maintained.
From watching the sunsets from the beach, discovering local wineries, enjoying the boardwalk, visiting the markets, playing golf, touring the Monterey Bay area, to walking up to the taqueria on the corner,we could not have asked for a better visit and like the other reviewers, really hated to say goodbye.

We had a wonderful stay at this Swan Lake property. We stayed for six weeks while looking for a new home in the area. We loved the condo which was so well equipped, beautifully decorated, very spacious, and with an ideal location. It is only a short walk from some restaurants and convenience stores and most importantly the beach. We loved the local Mexican at the corner, the Argentinean restaurant, and of course the Crow's Nest, which is fun to get to along the beach. This unit was incredibly clean, spacious, and well taken care off. It's on the second floor overlooking the pool, which was great for our kids. The unit had a reserved covered parking spot, wireless internet, and ample amounts of closet space.
Barbara and Dave were there to welcome us. They are such a lovely couple and made us feel right at home. It is incredible how Barbara thought of everything: there was some shampoo and soap there for the first few days detergent for the dishwasher, cleaning supplies and paper towels, coffee and some pepper sugar and salt to last a couple days, Britta filtered water, lots of towels, nightlights, hairdryer, beach chairs, sun umbrella, games, books, DVDs, and even two bottles of wine, a couple of candy treats, cheese and crackers.
The owners really put a lot of effort in to making the accommodation incredibly comfortable and we were so sad to leave at the end of our stay. We will recommend this condo to all of our friends visiting the area, and are thinking of staying here during our kitchen remodel!
Santa Cruz Condo only two blocks from Twin Lakes Beach -- one of the area’s most private state beaches. Close to Capitola, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Roaring Camp Big Trees Railroad. Go 90 minutes north to San Francisco, 40 minutes north to San Jose or an hour south to Carmel/Monterey.

A $300 deposit is required with the signed rental agreement. The $300 will be credited toward the total due. The $300 deposit is non-refundable should you cancel prior to your first half payment. 50% of the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment dates will be specified in the rental agreement. See Cancellation Policy in the Rental Agreement.
