About the property

1700sf - 2 Bedrooms -1 Bath - Sleeps 6. Near Everything!

Our 1700 square foot apartment is bright and furnished in a blend that combines modern elements and antiques. The ceilings are high, the rooms are large and the space is perfect for families with children. All parts, even the dining room and living room can be closed completely, so that everyone may be entitled to a moment of tranquility.

Two closed bedrooms and a sofa bed.

Our apt is perfect for families with kids. Not suitable for parties.

Our rooftop terrace is at your disposal with its large glass table, its huge umbrella, barbecue and its beautiful potted flowers. You will spend memorable evenings, after a long day exploring the city.

Located in the heart of the plateau mont-royal, it is easy to walk or take the subway to discover all that Montreal has to offer. Festivals, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, museums ...

What is le Plateau Mont-Royal?

Wrought-iron staircases, old-style stone masonry, walk-up duplexes, second-hand bicycles, fashion boutiques and funky frip stores: this working-class-turned-yuppie neighborhood with bohemian undercurrents is by far the grooviest scene in montréal. Those who don’t live here come to play as often as possible.

The plateau is the best window to view the real montréal. Here you’ll find a predominantly francophone community featuring an eclectic mix of artists, students, yuppies, and young families, spiced with a healthy dose of other cultures and languages to raise the diversity quotient that much higher. Round it off with a wealth of interesting shops, cafés, pubs and bars, art galleries and gourmet shops, and you’ve got a free-spirited, creative atmosphere where all walks of life converge.

Gorgeous apartment in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We just completed a four night stay at this apartment and it was fabulous. The apartment itself had comfortable and cool decor, was very spacious, and was well equipped and maintained. The hosts were very friendly, too. The location is outstanding--in the middle of a quiet block in a very cool neighborhood that was fun to explore and near other great areas (e.g. Mile End and the main park). Plus Old Montreal and Downtown and other interesting areas were a pretty easy subway ride away (with the subway stop a ~5 minute walk from the apartment). We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Beautiful rental located in the heart of Montreal

  • 5 of 5

A few short weeks ago we had the pleasure of renting this vacation home. It is a spacious, well designed unit with all the amenities you desire. If there is anything you need that may not be in the apartment, the hosts will quickly meet your needs as they reside very nearby and are eager to have you enjoy your time in Montreal. We had six people and it was very spacious for all of us. We were not on top of each other. As a couple of the days were a bit warmer, we really appreciated the in unit air conditioning that we could adjust to meet our needs. On the cooler days, there were plenty of larger windows that we could open to let in the fresh air. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary equipment to cook up our finds from the Jean Talon Market. There was even a roof top BBQ to help with cooking.

The location was perfect. We were about a 6 min walk to the Mount Royal Metro station, which was on the orange metro line. This is a great line to be near, as it takes you up to Little Italy and the Jean Talon Market, or into downtown, all in a few short stops. Mount Royal park is also about a 15 min walk and is a must see/do while in town. We were also in the heart of wonderful and unique Montreal shops and restaurants. Other than to see attractions that were not nearby, we could have easily spent our seven days in Montreal just exploring the area around the apartment on foot.

Much thanks to our hosts for a great week! We highly recommend.

amazing

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful apartment with another couple and their child for 3 nights. Laurence and Alex were incredible hosts ensuring that we had everything we needed and also suggested wonderful restaurants and sites to see.

The apartment itself was perfect. Very clean and new. The rooftop terrace was perfect for spending an evening. The rooms in the apartment were very large and we were surprised how quite it was from room to room.

The apartment is just off Rue Mont-Royal with many stores and restaurant. It is close to the metro and within minutes to many sites including Olympic park and Old Montreal.

I highly recommend this apartment and i will stay here again when i return to Montreal.

Great location and gorgeous apartment!

  • 5 of 5

Me, my husband and another married couple came to Montreal in June for Grand Prix and we ended up having an amazing time. The apartment is extremely spacious and very clean. The location is great! The subway system was about a 10-15 minute walk which was essential for us because you can only get to Grand Prix by train. Downtown was about 10-15 minutes away via train. Also, the neighborhood is truly wonderful! A two minute walk will bring you to a variety of coffee shops, restaurants and retail stores. While we were there, there was also a street fair everyday which was a lot of fun! Owners Laurence and Alex are very nice and truly accommodating. They gave us great recommendations as to where we should eat. Alex greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend renting this apartment to anyone as we had an absolutely wonderful time!! Thank you Alex and Laurence!

We live and play in the eastern shadow of mount royal. The edgy urban vitality of our dynamic commercial arteries—such as saint-laurent boulevard or “the main”, where montréal’s ethnic communities first set up shop, saint-denis street with its designer boutiques and cafés, prince-arthur street’s byow terraces and restaurants, and mont-royal avenue’s trendy hotspots—is balanced by the tranquility and fresh air afforded by luxurious green spaces such as parc la fontaine.

The plateau by night heats up with as many choices of clubs, bars and cafés as you could think of, ranging from fashionable martini lounges to local microbrewery pubs to high-octane coffee shops. Throw in a thriving arts scene where local artists take to the stage nightly, and you’ve got the makings for a perfect night on the town.
