Perfect home for our weekend

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our ski weekend. The layout of the house worked great for our 2 families- total of 4 kids. The adults each were able to have their own bathroom and the children had one to share. The master bedrooms with connecting bathrooms are on the 2nd floor and the 2 other bedrooms are on the first floor. That was fine as the children were all 11 and up but if you have little ones, some might worry. There were nightlights in every bedroom and the hallway which was so nice and helpful. The house is very clean and stocked with everything you may need. We didn't use the finished basement game room much but had the weather not cooperated it would have been a great place for the children to go. We were skiing all day and then the kids played outside in the snow. Not a huge yard, but plenty of room to play. Sugarloaf Mountain was a 5 minute drive away and the shuttle seemed to be running constant. There were restaurants nearby and a small market that seemed to have a little of everything. Lisa was helpful with any questions and easy to work with. I highly recommend the house if you are looking for a place to stay by the mountain.

Great Family Ski Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We often use HomeAway for family vacations over the past several years. This property was one of the best experiences for several reasons. The home was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Lisa was a pleasure to work with as well. She provide us with ample information prior to the trip and also was readily available for questions and assistance. She even was willing to come to our assistance when one of our cars would not start the day we were leaving. The shuttle to and from the mountain was excellent. Sharon the bus driver goes above and beyond. She provides some of the best customer service consistently throughout our our stay. Everybody we encountered on the shuttle raves about her as well. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation at Sugarloaf, I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Lisa!!

Excellent Experience...Great Family Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we walked in the door, this home exceeded our expectations. Much larger than the pictures indicate. Layout fits 2 families of 4 perfectly. Master bedrooms up stairs and kids in 2 rooms downstairs. The house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the fire, games, a meal etc. Lisa, the owner, welcomed us us with a gift basket of goodies and details about the house and mountain. If needed, she is very responsive. Location of the house allowed us to leave the car in the driveway most of the week. The shuttle bus takes you to the mountain for skiing(4 minutes), restaurants, and to visit friends' houses and condos. All 8 of us can't stop talking about what a great time we had!

Outstanding vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures do NOT do justice to the property. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. A fantastic family vacation for skiers and non-skiers alike. Even with a full house, there was plenty of space for everyone. This property enabled us to make lots of fantastic family memories.

Excellent vacation spot

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for Feb school vacation with another family. We vacation every Feb with the same family and rent accommodations for 8. In effort to look for 2 master bedrooms and a place for 4 boys to hang this house me the match. This house was a perfect set up for 2 families of 4. The bus was an added bonus as we did not have to drive to the slopes or even out for dinner at night. The house was spotless which is yet another important factor in places to stay. My only feedback is to set up a better/bigger TV in the common kitchen/family area other then the small one on the kitchen counter. The basement was a better fit for the kids and the adults enjoyed the fire place, however had to watch the small TV from across the kitchen. I would go back and stay here again and I recommend this property for families looking for a roomy, cozy, clean and convenient house to vacation at.
