Cozy and well equipped

  • 5 of 5

We booked this for a guys fishing week. Mother Nature didn't cooperate most of the week. Lots if fires food and football! We did get in the water fir a couple days of fishing.... so convenient to wake up and be fishing in minutes. Will definitely be back next fall hoping the weather allows more time on the water.

great location

  • 3 of 5

Loved being able to stay so close to the river and the house was OK. We had a good time even though the weather forced us to leave a day earlier than we had planned.

cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

Great cabin on the river very clean and roomy luv the firepit great for cooking oysters! The deck and swing was a plus as well. Only down fall for us was the double bed in bedroom for 2 people is too small other than that we really enjoyed it for 2 nights.

A disaster--the place is contaminated with toxic mold and I became extrememly ill from it.

  • 1 of 5

This is a tiny, ancient single-wide trailer that's contaminated with toxic mold and is located next to an RV park. So forget peace as the photos suggest. It's noisy. I got a migraine from lying on the couch for 10 minutes because even the furniture is contaminated. Another one from lying in the bed and the first night there woke up gasping for breath. Just talked to the owner who is familiar with allergies because his wife suffers from them and says it's from 'the coastal environment'. I'm being treated for a sinus infection and upper respiratory problems and am losing time from work and accruing expenses. I've stayed at other rentals all over the coast for the past 25 years, including wooden cabins that are more than 100 years old. Never had this problem before. The mold is specific to this property and the owner refuses to deal with my complaint. Anyone with a allergies or a weakened immune system should avoid this dump and this callous landlord. Oh, and if you have complaints about a stay, VRBO does NOT go to bat for you.
