A desert oasis in the midst of Tucson
This historic casita is efficiently arranged so the 400 sq. ft. interior is comfortable and pleasant for 2 people. The lack of space inside is more than compensated for by the plentiful private outdoor area which offers unrestricted views of the surrounding desert landscape against a mountain background. The sunsets seem to be arranged for just your private pleasure. From a covered terrace we observed a virden visiting its nest and caring for offspring. And yet, you are only minutes away from most of what Tucson has to offer. The best of both worlds! The owner is friendly, easy to reach and very accommodating. We have stayed in Tucson several times and this is our favorite place for a couple.
Nice place. Comfortable, great views, quiet. Enjoyed watching the bobcat walk by like he owned the place (like all cats). It is small, but we didn’t consider that a problem at all. I would definitely recommend this place.
Cute & Comfy but Needs TLC
I needed a place on short notice. Owner was acceptable to my 3 dogs. Overall, it worked out for my needs.
Great views, secure w/gate entry, lots of privacy, location convenient to many
Musty smell. I burned scented candles which helped.
Brown water from faucet. I used bottled water only.
Property overall needs some TLC & updated touches
Very limited TV channels; local channels only; ABC, CBS, PBS, NBC and some
Hispanic channels due to antenna.
We loved the property, especially the outdoor space. The cottage was well supplied.
Cute cottage, nice location with a good view. A little hard to find at night. Great outdoor space but we were disappointed that the hot tub wasn't available. Would recommend it for a couple.
We had a wonderful week in June 2018
Beautiful little house ideal for two, quiet, very functional furniture, linen provided (towels sheets) clean and in good condition, very nice view, large pool, close to shops, nice owner
Tranquil and unassuming. I felt at home from the first night. Lots of great places nearby.
The guest house was a good center for hiking Sabino Canyon or Saguaro NP West or going g to art shops.
Pima air museum, Old Tucson, Tucson Desert Museum, Biosphere II, Saguaro National Monument,
