About this property

This cedar North Beach home offers picture-perfect views of Towhill, Alaska and pristine sunsets from your balcony. There is walkout trail to the beach for your convenience. The interior of the Carriage House features two sunken tubs (one has ocean views) with separate walk-in showers. The kitchen is well appointed with an eight burner Wolfe Range, grill, and two ovens. The cookware is all-clad and the kitchen is nicely appointed. The beds have high end pillow top mattresses, the master bedroom opens to the balcony. In the living-room there is a queen sofa sleeper and well as a twin sleeper in the guest bedroom. There are two flat screen smart televisions with Netflix and Prime Video among others.
The home and experience speak for themselves in the guest comments.
Note, there is a completely separate suite downstairs that is never rented but the owner occasionally comes by.

Don't Miss A Stay At Brand New Cedar Oceanfront House

This VRBO rental was absolutely amazing. It had all the amenities we needed and then some. We enjoyed preparing and eating dinner at the house - the kitchen is just beautiful and has the best appliances. The heated bathroom floors in the ensuite bathrooms were so nice and the jacuzzi tubs were the best! The property manager was so kind and responsive to all our questions and needs and she gave us lots of good suggestions that added to the enjoyment of our stay. This house is right on the beach and we really enjoyed our walks on the beach in the mornings during our time there. The beach is a shell collector's dream. We loved our stay here and hope to stay again in the future.

We loved the private access to the ocean. Loved the solitude and privacy. Property and location did not disappoint. Perfect. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location, Spacious home

Easy path down to the beach, ideal for beach combing and wave watching. Great views from the windows and deck - although trees could be topped to expand the view. This home’s well-equipped kitchen and eclectic decor made it very pleasant to come back to after a day of exploring Masset or the Tow Hill area. Our only complaint is that the water pressure was very, very low and the shower temperature, even after a 10 minute run, was tepid at best. The home and property are lovely, but looks like it’s starting to need some TLC. Our check in experience with Catherine was very positive.

Haida Gwaii Home Base

This house was ideal for our party. We love to cook, so bought fresh fish at the Masset fish store to grill on the Wolf range grill. Catherine was terrific and helpful, and very responsive. The location is perfect for visiting Tow HIll, Masset, birdwatching at the wildlife refuge, walking on the beach, etc. Calling the house “brand new” is a slight overstatement (and the view of the ocean has disappeared behind the trees which have grown up in front of the house), but we would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
