Thank you for considering us for your stay in Seattle. Our townhome is located on a quiet residential street in the lovely Ballard neighborhood. This spacious unit has a comfortable, open layout.

It comes equipped with all you need for a great stay. Downtown Ballard, the locks and Golden Gardens are a short walk away with many cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There is a supermarket just one block from the front door.

We want your stay in Seattle to be extraordinary. We are a family run real estate brokerage (headquartered in Ballard) offering our own properties as high quality short term rental properties in the Puget Sound area. Our vision is to provide an exceptional level of service.

About John Manning

Hi, we're John and Liz! A little about us: we met in the south of France where we lived for several years before relocating to Seattle in 2000. John is Irish and speaks French, Spanish and Portuguese. Liz grew up on Bainbridge, a beautiful island in the Puget Sound. Our interests are varied: we're musicians, motorcyclists, fishers, hikers, skiiers, bikers, climbers, kayakers, entrepreneurs, sustainable farmers, gourmet foodie locavores, dog whisperer wannabees, wilderness lovers. We practice meditation and yoga and do our best to parent our wonderful four year old.

Excellent house, perfect location

Our team stayed at this house for three weeks. The owner was attentive and gracious. The entire interior had just been repainted and everything was spotless. Beds are comfortable and seem high quality. There is only parking for one car and we had to park our other car on the street. It is really close to downtown Ballard which is great in the evenings for walking to restaurants.

Quiet, spacious, excellent location

Great spot with plenty of room for a family only a block from the grocery store and fine coffee shops. Tough to beat the space and location. Property owner quickly responded to and solved a minor internet issue. Beds a little firm for some in our group., but we would stay here again.

Great location in Ballard

This was a great townhouse for our family. We stayed here for a wedding at the Hotel Ballard and could actually walk there from the townhouse. The grocery store is a couple blocks away as are a ton of restaurants. We went to the Ballard farmers market on Sunday and visited the locks. There was plenty of space for our two granddaughters who loved the bathtub. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. Good choice for a family who can manage steps, as there are several levels.

This was a great place for our family to meet up and have wonderful family time and vacation. The bedrooms were comfortable (except the basement bedroom could use a firmer mattress) and the bathrooms were clean and appropriately appointed. The parking is right in front of the garage door and not really an issue as others have noted. A very quiet neighborhood and close to any and all of the things you want to do in Seattle. The location is fantastic as it is 1 1/2 blocks from the grocery store (QFC), coffee place (Java Bean which is fantastic) and many other great restaurants. We ate at La Isla the first night there and were not disappointed in the authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. One night we ate at 8 oz

Burger & Co. and the burgers and garlic fries are excellent. Another night we ate at Patxi's Pizza and had a really great pizza and then stopped down the street for gelato at D'Ambrosio. Take a night to go to Elliot's and have the Oysters, Prawns, Crab, Crab cakes and Calimari which is fantastic. Some detail by the owner on the specifics for parking and garbage cans that should be used and where to put them on garbage night would be helpful. All in all we were very pleased and happy with our stay and would stay again if back in Seattle.

Clean, comfortable, well located, convenient

We wanted a place in Ballard - our son lives there. This place is clean and well maintained. The area is quiet and seems safe for walking. It is about one short block from a very good grocery store. Within a 15 minute walking radius are numerous coffee shops, restaurants and other interesting small businesses. We had a parking space but did not bother renting a car, and did not miss it. The owner was courteous and helpful and responded quickly to a couple of minor questions we posed. We would gladly rent this place again. There is one small drawback - it is a multi-level place with lots of stairs, so not ideal for those with stair-climbing difficulties. Otherwise, overall, a place well worth renting.
