The house looks over 4th lake of the famous Fulton Chain of lakes. A private path leads down to our dock right on the water. Dock can accommodate a boat up to 18 feet. A smaller dock for canoe/kayak launching.

4th lake is about 1 mile across at our dock, seven miles long. Excellent for swimming, water skiing, boating, sailing and fishing.

Approximately 200 yards from our dock is the inlet to the town of Inlet, and 1/4 mile further to 5th Lake

About Peter Schulberg

Our family has owned 'Little Naumkeag' since it was built for our Grandparents by famed local Adirondack builder, Evert Lewis in 1927. Enjoyed by four generations, and counting, our camp reflects who we are; people who don't mind new things, but also appreciate a bit of history in our surroundings.

Peter Schulberg purchased this house in 1927

Why Peter Schulberg chose Inlet

Little Naumkeag is a family camp with years of character. If generic condo style is what you're looking for then our home may not be for you. A place that has always been about kids (and sometimes dogs) the house has plenty of rainy day books, vintage board games, decks of cards-- plus cable, wireless internet and 100's of dvd's. When weather's fine there's badminton, croquet, bikes and more.

What makes this house unique

The house is large enough to have several families share the place, but not too big as to be expensive, beyond reach, or comfortable for more intimate get-a-ways.

Two large bedrooms downstairs offer 2 family privacy, or Grandparent seclusion. One bedroom has on-suite complete bathroom, 2nd bedroom has adjacent 1/2 bath.

Historic , lovely old camp. Beautiful view they the pines to fourth lake

  • 4 of 5

Pretty lake view through the trees. WeTher was a little too chilly at end of August to swim comfortably, but nice hiking in cool weather. Nice and accommodating owner.
