Twins in 2nd bdrm and a queen in the 3rd bdrm, sharing a full bath. A queen sofa sleeper in the upper level, plus an office/bedroom with a queen bed and a 3rd bath. 2 outdoor patios, plenty of off street parking, gas grill, patio with setting for 8, lovely home. Original art throughout.

My husband and I have lived on the front range of Colorado all of our lives and love going to Estes Park. I bought The Columbine home to remodel and sell. Through the process I fell in love with it and now plan to keep it. As a short term rental I can have both worlds. I love Estes and visiting the Columbine Home. Hope you will too!

This home is a gem. Lots of windows with terrific views. New bedding and basically new inside as I totally remodeled it in 2012/13. The kitchen has custom cabinets, stainless appliances, hardwood floors, flat screen TV's, lots of style and comfort.

What makes this house unique

Close to almost everything you would want to do in Estes. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park, within walking distance to downtown, Lake Estes, restaurants, shopping, bars and entertainment. Approx 1 mile to the 18 hole golf course. The home is very cozy and comfortable for 2 or 10!

Had a great time at this house. Great view of the mountains from the kitchen, in a quiet neighborhood. Great location, very close to the delicious Antonio's Pizza and EP Brewery. Quick drive to downtown or RMNP.

Everyone who stayed with us couldn't believe how nice this home is.

This home was very clean, with modern appliances and kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Located in a very quiet area with a nice view of Estes Park out of kitchen and dinning room area. Excellent kichen/common area & excellent views from Kitchen/Dining area

There is a lot to like about this property. Everything is in good to excellent shape. The kitchen is large, very well equipped, great counter tops, cabinets and appliances. Plus multiple people can work in the kitchen at the same time without getting in each others way--all excellent! The bathrooms are all in excellent condition and the bath towels fluffy. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is resonably sound-proof between rooms. The house sits high on the hill and has mostly unobstructed views over the valley--really lovely! The owner was very pleasant and responsive and I appreciated her pro-active communication.

Some distractions. The grill is on a patio that can only be reached by walking through the bedroom that is next to the kitchen. This is one of the bedrooms with a queen bed and the only bedroom on the upper level with the kitchen/dining/tv common area. The bedroom is small so you have to walk around two sides of the bed to get to the patio door and are not able to fully open the door (it is stopped by the bed) to go in and out. This is awkward at best. The patio on the lower level requires you walk through the master suites or go further around through the front door and them back to the patio--there is no easy access to these amenities. It is manageable but I did not expect it or really like it.

The stairs from the ground level to the upper common area are very steep. If you have elderly guests or anyone going up and down these stairs you need to be mindful. If you struggle with stairs this may not work well for you.

Finally, the houses in this neighborhood are of mixed condition. This rental is one of the nicer ones but there is a range of poorly maintained and cluttered yards to well-maintained homes/yards and everything in between. When you drive up the street to the house you will see the range and might have some concern. The good news is the houses you have the greatest views of from this rental generally have decent curb appeal.

Lu's house is just as pictured-spacious, comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend!

Our family of 8 slept well in the comfortable beds. Having 3 bathrooms made it easy to be out the door at 6am to hike. Being able to access RMNP without driving through town was convenient. It was nice to have the bikes for evening rides around the lake.

The kitchen had everything we needed.

We recently ventured to Estes to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our parents. This is a great property, and it provided us everything that we needed to have a great celebration.
