big enough but it needs some serious updating.

  • 4 of 5

We got to meet Robert when we first arrived and he is a very nice guy. The house had ample enough room for the 10 of us however some things are in need of repair or replacement. We wanted to use the gas grill for most of our dinner time cooking but only found that after purchasing propane, it still didn't work. We also found that the stove only had three working burners. The basement area's shower was very dark and you had to keep the shower curtain open to see what you were doing. Other than those few things, we had an easy time finding our way to downtown D.C. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood too. We had an enjoyable time. Thanks Robert!

Perfect dor large group!

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our 11 person gathering in honor of our daughter's college graduation. huge well stocked kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds, several portable tables and chairs for multi family party. Our host even came by to mow the lawn in time for the party. Highly recommend!

A good home for big families

  • 5 of 5

Although it was for a sad reason that we all gathered in DC, the home was a highlight for our trip. Plenty of beds and rooms for all 8 of us with some privacy left over. Robert was a dear to answer all our questions and the location was superb...we were never more than 20 minutes away from wherever we needed or wanted to be.

Great size home and great host!

  • 4 of 5

We had a family of 15 all stay comfortably with room for everyone to cook, watch tv, read and rest. The other reviewers are correct, as this home is in need of some major TLC. Regardless we had a great weekend and enjoyed our Thanksgiving immensely!

Spacious and private, but in need of some work

  • 3 of 5

This is a large home that can accommodate a big group and it has a modern, well equipped kitchen. The location is convenient and somewhat private, and the owner was very responsive when issues arose. However, the house needs maintenance in a number of areas and, given the absence of a bannister on the uncarpeted front stairs and the presence of peeling paint and incomplete wiring, I would not recommend this property for families with very young children.

Great group house for reunions.

  • 5 of 5

This was great house for our family gathering. We used it as home base while attending all the celebrations of my son's wedding in Potomac. We dubbed it the "Cousin House" -- the young people ages 22 to 37 stayed there and created new fond family memories. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and we especially enjoyed the large well equipped kitchen, large dining room, family room and back screened porch (which was used by the parents of the cousins when they came to visit).

Will definitely rent again if have a family reunion. Robert was very accommodating to our needs.
