Very nice 1 bedroom 1 bath condo, with a great city view, located in the prestigious Fourth Ward of center city Charlotte. This unit is on the top floor of an eight story condominium. The unit has eleven ft. tall ceilings and wood floors, a small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the Charlotte skyline. We have underground parking that is behind a closed gate at night. The complex has a heated pool. A washer and dryer are in the unit for your convenience. A five minute walk can have you at the very center of Charlotte , Spirit Square. We walk to football and basketball games as well as the theater, concerts and the light rail train. The Charlotte Convention center is less than a mile away. Numerous restaurants and bars are a short walk away. The bedroom has a King Size bed and the living room has a fold out couch.
Robin and Tom Enterline live in the Mountains of North Carolina. Tom is a custom builder, we have two children. Our family enjoys Alpine skiing, hiking and travel.
Robin Enterline purchased this condo in 2002
We bought this unit to use as a city retreat. We enjoy all the big city amenities from a unit located in the nicest neighborhood in Charlotte.
We enjoy Panthers football, Bobcats basketball and the Checkers Hockey Games. Concerts and live theater are regular events. We have had this unit for many years and have still not tried all the restaurants that are just a short walk away. The view from our living room is great, especially at night.
Great location, easy walking to everywhere within the 4 wards in town. The apartment has everything one could want. The only dissapointment was that the community BBQ on the roof deck did not work for our planned dinner looking at the wonderful skyline at night. Would happily stay there again.
Thanks Tom and Robin for allowing us to share your wonderful condo. The location was perfect and the view unbeatable.
The gated, secure, designated parking was great. We parked our car and it was a short walk to many great restaurants and attractions. Starbuck's ( a must for me) was only about a 7 minute walk. We had a great dinner at Ruth Chris and The Charlotte City Club. While walking around downtown we happened upon the Festival of India which was great.
We drove to Asheville to tour Biltmore. It was only about 1 1/2 hours and was well worth the trip. We also went to the Carolina Raptor Center. If you like birds this was a great place. It a refuge for injured birds and has eagles, owls, hawks and other great birds. We went to the U.S. National Whitewater Center - what a great place! This is where the Olympians trained for Whitewater activities. While we only hiked the trails on the site there were so many other activities to partake in. This is a place we will definitely return to on our next visit.
We always looked forward to returning to your comfortable condo at the end of a busy day. The building was very secure which is always important in an urban location. The view was great - day or night! The king bed was comfortable and we slept great. While the condo has easy access to the highway we did not hear any road noise.
The pictures on the site were very representative of the actual condo. I loved the decor and paint colors. I am a fellow vacation rental owner and am very fussy about cleanliness. We found the condo very clean and well-maintained.
Now that our son has relocated to Charlotte I know we will be returning to the area and will defintitely contact you for our next stay.
Thanks again for a wonderful week!
