Located on the East side, directly across from Bluff Point. Family owned cottage for 50 years. Owner lives next door.
A quaint cottage with three bedrooms, each with double beds. Standard bathroom (shower stall). Kitchen with apartment-sized gas stove (4 burners) and oven. Full size fridge, plenty of dishware and cookware, a small dining table. The living room is equipped with a TV, couch, love seat, and two chairs. The front of the house is an enclosed porch surrounded by windows, which offers a great view of the lake. In the enclosed porch is also a larger dining table. In front of the house there's plenty of space to sit and relax while overlooking the lake - plenty of chairs and lounge chairs, a picnic table, and fire pit. A small staircase down from this sitting area is the water and dock. The water level is gradual, there is no drop off! Behind the house (on the road side) is ample parking and a grill.
We just stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The cottage is very clean and has a wonderful view of the widest part of the lake and is located in a little cove that protects it from the wind. There's a great enclosed porch with a beautiful view, and the place is surprisingly spacious for a small cottage. Out front there's a lawn with a large picnic table and lots of chairs for entertaining and another picnic table and grill out back. The water is pretty shallow which is great for kids and allows you to walk out for quite a distance. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
