House, 3 Bedrooms + Family Room, 2+ Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)
This attractive two story all-season family cabin is located in the desirable Blue Lake Springs development. This 1,850 square foot home has 3 bedrooms and 2+ baths, and is just minutes from Snowflake Lodge and a short walk to the Fly-in Lake recreation area.
The main floor has a large, comfortable great room with vaulted pine ceilings and plenty of seating, perfect for family entertaining. The great room leads to a large 400 sq ft deck, ideal for entertaining and relaxing, as well as enjoying meals from the gas barbecue grill. The forest views make you feel like you are in the trees. A well-appointed kitchen with new appliances will ease the burden of meal time. The main floor also has the master bedroom with queen bed and bath, as well as a second bedroom with twin beds, and the common bath with a tub/shower combination.
A spiral staircase leads down to a separate, large family room that is great for kids to play games, watch movies or just 'do their own thing'. Downstairs also has a separate bedroom with queen platform bed, and a half bath.
Blue Lake Springs has wonderful facilities that renters may use for a nominal daily or weekly fee. Snowflake Lodge, which is a quick five minute drive, has a restaurant, large pool, private lake, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, ping pong and evening outside movies during summer. Our favorite, Fly-in Lake, is a close-by private lake with a sandy beachfront and access for swimming and 'floaties.'
WINTER: For skiers, Bear Valley Ski Resort is 30 minutes away with both downhill and cross country skiing. You can also snowshoe on free access roads or at Big Trees State Park about 10 minutes north. Family snow sledding areas are about 15 minutes north along Highway 4.
OTHER SEASONS: Murphys is 20 minutes away and has many wineries, restaurants, antiquing and shopping. Big Trees State Park has beautiful hiking trails and family picnic areas. Golfing is nearby at Forest Meadows in Murphys and Meadowmont in Arnold. The private Sequoia Woods Golf Club is minutes away for those with reciprocal privileges or friends with memberships.

Great Family Vacation!
Our family really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was fully stocked with games, movies, beach accessories as well as an amazing kitchen! We felt very relaxed and "at home". The cabin was very clean which is important to me. Dave was very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. We can highly recommend this cabin to families, girls getaway or anyone looking for a quiet, family friendly spot. We love Arnold!
Good value for the family!
We found this cabin to be a good value and enjoyable time with our two young boys. The owner is friendly and communicative. The cabin is comfortable. The gas stove flips easily on and off and there are plenty of board games to play. Good opportunity for grilling on the deck. Well located in Blue Lake Springs near Fly-In lake.
Great relaxing place to stay!
I have been up to this cabin twice over the past couple of years. The first time was just my wife and I and we enjoyed a relaxing 4 day stay. The two decks are really nice. In the afternoon it was warm so we stayed mostly downstairs deck so we could stay in the shade. However in the evening it's nice to eat outside on the upper deck right outside the kitchen. The second time we were at the cabin we brought my wife's parents with us. We ended up going fishing nearby on the rivers and heading to Sonora for an enjoyable day trip. This is a great place to get away to that is nicely decorated and setup for you to have an enjoyable several days away from home.
My kids and I were at his cabin last summer and I had to write a review for it. We spent every night on the deck and enjoyed the BBQ and outside stereo speakers. I'm love cooking and found the kitchen complete with every item I needed. The downstairs had over 50 games. Each night was spent playing different games and we got a kick out of the assortment! The cabin is cute and cozy. I loved having the upstairs to the adults and giving the kids the run of the downstairs. The place was large enough for the five of us, but probably would not suit two large families (or more than 8 people)
