At the beach, life is different. We mostly plan by the tides and follow the sun. Each day we hope to wake early enough to watch the sun rise glorious from the ocean and then we watch it set beautifully each evening. You and your family will enjoy these moments and create your own memories staying at 6B Mariners Walk, where coastal beauty and the sound of the ocean surround you. Mariner's Walk is ideally located in Wild Dunes Resort; a short bike ride to the Resort restaurants, marina (where eco tours of uninhabited local islands runs daily), shopping, spa facilities, world class golf and ocean activities. Wild Dunes is located on the Isle of Palms, one of South Carolina's most beautiful barrier islands. Downtown Historic Charleston is a 15 minute drive from your door; Mt. Pleasant is right over the island bridge and has attractions for young and old alike. Visit history at Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens where you can walk through 200 years of a working plantation while learning how the language of Gullah originated from the descendants of Africans who have lived and worked in our Lowcountry for many generations. Visit Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum with a fascinating tour of a Cold War submarine; the Charles Pickney National Historic Site, and the Pitt Street Bridge near Alhambra Hall. Enjoy local shopping at the Farmer's Market, Antique Shops, Roadside Sweetgrass Basket stands and Craft Fairs. For added excitement and leisure, an indoor/outdoor Fun Park, the Mt. As for your "home away from home" ~ 6B Mariners Walk features exclusive guest use of the Owner's Sportscard Membership pass, which provides access to members or owners-only Wild Dunes Resort activities during your stay. A comprehensive listing is available through the Amenities Tab on the Beachside Vacations web page; but a sample includes complimentary access to the Grand Pavilion, the Palm Cove Pool, the Boardwalk Inn Pool Complex, the Private Wild Dunes Pool Complex, Private rental of a Tennis Court, and hourly or daily rental of the full Fitness area complex.

An offshore sandbar allows the sea in front of Mariner's Walk to take different forms based on the tide. At high tide it is the perfect spot to ride the waves, as they break along the sand bar approaching the shore. At low tide, the sandbar serves as a natural break, making the sea calm and shallow, perfect for younger children to play and for beachcombers to hunt for sand dollars, shark teeth and shells.

As the owners of 6B Mariners Walk, we want to ensure our home is inviting and in great condition for your family's visit. Recent updates to the home feature stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and Roman tile floors in the kitchen. In addition to the kitchen, the master bathroom has been renovated, and also features Roman tile, granite, plush towels and linens. Wood floors highlight the living area that also features a full size sleeper sofa. The dining area adjacent to the living area has seating for six. Lastly, you'll enjoy a good night's sleep on a comfortable king size bed. This property includes free WiFi, HD cable and flat screen televisions in the living room and master bedroom.

Property is a bit tired and worn out

The location is nice, and the neighborhood quiet. Access to the beach is close and easy.

But the condo felt like we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa: Lots of little things don't work *quite* right or are just a little worn out. You could just imagine an older couple saying: "Oh, yes, you have to hold the door like this to get it to slide," or "We've been meaning to fix that, but it mostly works, right?"

The couch had a broken front rail, so one end drooped. The front patio door doesn't slide well unless you pull on it just so. The screen on the outer door to the front porch was pushed in. There are broken slats in one blind. The furniture was dirty... probably end-of-season cleaning needed. Same goes for the runner up the stairs to the bedroom. The pillows for the bed - all of them including "spares" in the closet - are worn flat. And I'm guessing the condo had not seen much rental this season, as I got a facefull of dust in my search in the closet for a better pillow.

And everything smelled just a little musty until we ran the HVAC for a couple of days.

Nothing huge, but not top-of-the-line accommodations.

So, all in all an OK place to stay, but just OK. Tired, in need of some upkeep and housekeeping.

Second stay at this condo. Love the location for pool and beach access. Love the vigorous A/C and love the king size bed. Everything very comfortable.
