RENTAL AGREEMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY: No refund will be given after guest books and pays for reservation or for disruption of their stay due to weather, hurricane or other "acts of God".(We recommend that guests obtain an insurance policy to protect against any of their own unforeseen circumstances that might prevent occupancy during their selected dates.)Guest agrees that he/she has read the owner's guidelines posted on Home Away Listing # 3565544 regarding the maximum number of occupants (4), as well as the HOUSE RULES regarding smoking and pets and agrees to abide by same. Guest also agrees to be quiet and considerate of neighbors at all times, particularly at night after 10:00PM. Guest agrees to keep house tidy and will leave it in the condition in which he/she found it, to contain all refuse in the white plastic bags provided by owner, to place same refuse in the trash bins located inside the white fence by road as needed during the week.Guest agrees to comply with the following schedule for trash collection: The trash bins are to be placed curbside on Thursday night for the early morning collection on Friday. Bins must be returned to original location following pickup. Guest agrees to assume responsibility for his/her own personal safety, the safety of his/her family member, guests, and custodial care of his/her children on and around the property including Long Island Sound. Guests are required to sign a liability waver following check-in.

About the owner: The house is owned by an Interior Designer and her husband who were living and working in Fairfield County, CT when they fortuitously discovered a small waterfront home. She and her husband, born and raised in Connecticut on Fairfield Beach, fell in love with the idea of living directly on the water and chose to move from their home with botanical gardens in woodsy Wilton, Ct to the light and openness of the Connecticut shoreline. With her passion for design and his love of the water they envisioned an opportunity to exercise her talents and realize a shared dream.
