* This Cozy 1 bedroom Cottage Studio Apartment is truly in the Heart of Miami: 1233 SW 13th Ave. Miami Fl. 33135, and Just 5 minutes to beach, Brikell, Downtown, Miracle Mile, and other points of interest. Private entrance in a tastefully renovated historic 1910 South Florida Bungalow. You will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen that includes pots, pans, plate setting for 4, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster. The queen size bed features a 1 inch gel memory foam, 5 inches of high-density base foam, and natural bamboo that naturally regulates body temperature to keep you comfortable. This unit has new 2015 air conditioner, 2 ceiling fans, and Tile floors. The apartment is equipped with complimentary beach supplies (2 towels, 2 chairs, 1 beach umbrella, and 1 cooler), iron and board, hair dryer, flat screen TV, (premium cable with all the movie channels, and all utilities Wi-Fi, water, and electricity) included.

I had a wonderful stay! This cottage was very clean its perfect for 2 people. Gabriel was the BEST host! I'm a very paranoid person but I felt very safe in this neighborhood. Please read your welcome letter its very informative! We would most definitely stay again! Thank You 😊

Charming, quaint cottage centrally located.

Gabriel was a great host! Our flight landed early and we sent him a text inquiring if we could check in an hour early. He responded quickly to let us know to come on over. He was there when we arrived and showed us the place. This property is tucked away with a lush scenery in the heart of little Havana. It was small, comfortable, and cozy. Just what we needed! Such a great atmosphere! All of the Cuban food and Cuban coffee that your heart desires! The main streets come alive with Cuban music wafting through the air during the evenings. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and can't wait to book one of Gabriel's properties again.

Nice property, great location.

We will be booking here again. Easy ride to everywhere in Miami and the neighborhood is totally walkable! We did not use our vehicle to ride to dinner as Calle Ocho was right there! Privacy was nice, ac was cold and cable/wifi made it feel like home. Kitchenette was very convenient and MIA was a straight shot for our morning flight. See you again soon!

Great location for a great deal

Gabriel was a great host. We arrived before checking in and he allowed us to leave our bags with him. The space had a very small kitchen that got the job done since we ate out most of the time. The unit had outdoor space as well. Little Havana was just a short walk away where there is a huge strip of restaurants. The email Gabriel sent prior to arriving gave a ton of useful information. The beach and other Miami districts were a cheap uber ride away. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

When I first got there I saw men coming from the back gate of home.. I was hesitant about entering the property but built up courage to do so.. Owner was sitting on back porch.. Basically it's a house and guest house that he's broken off into sections. So there's multiple ppl living in the location.. There was no parking and was an overall weird experience for me.. I probably won't ever rent anything like this again. I will stick to hotels..

Owner's Response: This review is a perfect example of how one cannot please everyone. This property is exactly as the pictures show, plus (You will find improvements that the pictures don't show). Most of the reviews will back what I am saying. This Property consists of 2 houses, (one in the front and one in the rear) each with 2 units (for a total of 4 PRIVATE living units) with back yard, patio tables and chairs. It's located in one of Miami's best and safest areas. The exact description is a single family home, a 2 story duplex, and a studio. A Cottage Studio is not a Single family residence; Although this studio is private and has its own walkway, front door, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living areas, and veranda. A studio is a part of a main residence; just like an apartment is part of a building. I have entire stand alone houses available in Miami that this guest could have rented, but this guest chose the studio. If that is not what this guest wanted, this guest could have easily rented one of my other houses, apartments, or paid 4-6 times more for a hotel just a few blocks away. Current home prices in this neighborhood range from 500k-1.5 million. Owning or visiting a Historic 1925 South Florida Bungalow in Miami is a privilege. I find it unfair and uncalled for a guest to give my great studio a bad review because this guest did not chose their needs accurately. About the other comment; I don't know where this guest lives that is so secluded that this guest would become scared of the sight of men. I do not discriminate based on anything. Every one is welcome at my homes, the only requirement is respect and common sense. This guest should not be putting down my homes because of this guest's lack of exposure to cultural and gender diversity. There is never a lack of parking, should there ever be (I live in the house next door and I will be happy to accommodate more vehicles on my driveway should the need arise). By the way, many hotels charge extra for parking. I provide all my guests with 6 ways to contact me (My living residence, my mobile number, a second mobile number, my email, my Facebook page, and the booking website email). If there is ever a discontent, you can rest assure that you can reach me with ease. If anyone is reading this review to make a decision I encourage you to read all the positive reviews that most guest have left at this or any of my other rental properties. I have many recurring guests and that is because of a positive experience.
