Enjoy the sandy shoreline in front of this three bedroom, 1050 square foot cottage privately situated at Pleasant Harbour on the shores of Lake Huron.
The main living area of the cottage features a stone fireplace, and is the perfect way to take the chill off a cool night. The large lakeside window and pine paneling throughout create a warm and comfortable space to relax in after a day in the sand. A couch, love seat two chairs and ottoman provide comfortable seating for all six in the party.The television with, Satellite, DVD player and VCR are a nice option on a rainy day.
Also in this open concept living area is the dining room and kitchen. A table with bench seating provides plenty of room for everyone to enjoy a family meal together.
The galley kitchen is located just off the dining area, and comes equipped with all the necessities including fridge, stove and microwave and water cooler. A seperate freezer is also available to store your food for the week. Plenty of counter and cupboard space as well as a propane bbq on the deck just outside the kitchen makes for quick and convenient summer feasts.
There are three bedrooms at the cottage. Two of these rooms are on the main level of the cottage and both have queens beds.The third bedroom is on the second storey of the cottage and has two single beds.
There is one bathroom at the cottage, a three piece with shower. The bathroom is located on the main floor of the cottage.
Outside of the cottage, you can relax and enjoy the view out over Lake Huron. Plenty of Muskoka chairs are provided as well as a patio table with chairs so that your family can enjoy a meal outdoors.
A beautiful stone pathway leads down to the shoreline, and solar lights will help guide you there in the evening as well. Alternately you can spend your evening around a campfire in the fire pit provided, telling ghost stories and roasting marshmallows.
The sandy shoreline at this cottage is a truly unique feature in an area that boasts a rock escarpment. It's the perfect beach for small children to play on and is right outside your front door.
The cottage is located on a quiet road with very little traffic. This a great area for walks and biking.
The cottage is centrally located on the Bruce Peninsula only 20 minutes drive from the fishing villages of Lion's Head and Tobermory, the Bruce Trail, Bruce Peninsula National Park and the spectacular cliffs of Georgian Bay.
