If you are looking for a quite place to call Home for an extented stay this is your place.
Located between Mopac (Loop 1), 183 and Capital of Texas Hwy (loop 360). Could not be a better location for almost anywhere in Austin.
This is a wonderful property, and Bill (and his wife) is a perfect host. The property is located in a convenient area for me because everything I need to do is north of downtown generally. The property looks exactly as it does in the pictures. The neighborhood as well as the unit is very peaceful and quiet. John, the downstairs neighbor, is such a nice guy. He carried a box upstairs for me as I was arriving--the heaviest box I had, so that was awesome. I had a bit of a time frame gap between my original date to leave and when I am moving into my new place. I was going to stay at a local hotel, but Bill graciously agreed to allow me to extend my stay through that period of time at a very reasonable rate (I am writing this as I sit at the nice desk area in the unit). I could not have been happier that I selected this particular property. I cannot imagine anyone would not enjoy a stay at this location.
we stayed in the condo for two months and had a great stay. Did a lot of cooking and everything was provided for our convenience. The only thing we missed was a cheese grater but solved the issue buying already grated cheese at the store. Loved the access of the washer/dryer in the unit. I need to just give a huge thank you to Bill, the owner, for helping me out when I needed to extend our stay and he already had other tenants moving in. He didn't just leave me stranded, he found something for me that really worked out. Talk about going the extra mile! Just another note, the neighborhood is extremely safe. John downstairs is very welcoming so if you see him, tell him hi from me.
Upon arriving, saw that our parking spot was extremely close to the condo. The place was very cozy and had everything we needed. Its within close driving to everyplace we wanted to go in Austin. Bill's response to a few questions was prompt. Enjoyed our stay there. Would do it again.
Bill was really responsive even before our arrival. While staying at the condo we called him that the garbage disposal wasn't working and he was by the next day. Overall the condo was well equipped and the location was nice and quiet yet close to town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spacious, well located, well equipped and perfectly located for a long term stay. We were able to get everywhere easily, downtown in about 12 minutes, after rush hour. The city is interesting and there were many terrific outdoor activities, eating places and music and theater venues. The owner was most cooperative and extremely responsive to anything we asked of him. During the week we basically had a private pool since most folks seem to go off to work. The in house washer dryer definitely was a bonus! We would definitely return.
Stayed two months. Left the condo clean with no damages. A few days after we left, Owner asked where to send the check for the deposit refund. We never heard another word, and he would not take or return numerous calls, emails and certified letter. Texas law requires Landlords to a refund the deposit or provide a full explanation within 30 days - Owner did neither. Also, the fridge failed and we lost goods. He replaced the fridge and promised to reimburse us. Again, no luck.
