Very nice condo in excellent location for those who enjoy seafood, white sand beaches, and temperate ocean waters. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on the private condo balcony as the sun rises, watch the pelicans and dolphins in the bay, set on the inside of Perdido Pass, an open passage of the Gulf of Mexico into Cotton Bayou,& Terry Cove.
Take a stroll across the Blvd, a walkway leads you to the dock and the beaches near and beyond the inlet. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance. A short drive to both Perdido Key and Gulf Shores State Parks. Drive west on the peninsula to the Fort Morgan pier and take a ferry to Dauphin Island. There are various parks and walking areas, and a zoo within a couple miles. Fishing, boating and boating is also very popular.
The Pass Condominiums are 60% owner occupied, very clean and maintained by Homeowners association (HOA). All occupants have access to the 2 pools (very nice indoor and outdoor), Tiki bar, and grill area pavillion and side beach.
We do have access to a boat slip with a lift at an additional rental fee.....
Unfortunately, the HOA rules forbid renters from having pets or for the owners to rent out for less than a week.

Grew up in La and often traveled to the AL and FL white soft sandy beaches and comfortable ocean. I truly enjoy the peaceful warm southern climate and great seafood. It has a nice slow-paced and family atmosphere. The Pass condominiums are low-rise up 5-floors, mosty owner-lived, it is situated on the corner before the bridge over Perdido Pass inlet into Cotton Bayou. I love to enjoy the beautiful sunrise with an early morning walk over the bridge with an incredible view the water and beaches.
I've been to many beaches in the US and outside. The Gulf Coast beaches are my favorite in US!
Nice climate and beautiful clean beaches. I love the water and peaceful environment. Slow paced, very relaxing and get away feel.
We have stayed in many condo's in the area and this was hands down our favorite. Loved watching the boats go by in the bay. Wonderful condo! Really liked the furnishings. It is within walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. Couldn't have been any more relaxing! Loved everything about it. We will rent this unit again. Would highly recommend AT THE BEACH for making the rental process a breeze.
The Pass is a nice complex in a great location. For the most part it seems to be well maintained. The only real negative I found with the complex was the gym. The equipment was quite old and one of the treadmills didn't work at all, which was not so bad....it forced me to go out and run and take in the beautiful scenery. The unit itself was quite disappointing. Here are the issues we countered:
One of the kitchen cabinet doors fell off when we first opened it
The bunk beds had a piece of wood railing broken away with a nail hanging out. (Not so safe for kids)
The large coffee pot leaked coffee all over the counter and floor on the first morning...Luckily there is a small coffee pot as well, but you can only brew 2 cups of coffee at a time.
The masterbath shower leaks water on the floor.
The guest bath shower head needs adjusting as it shoots water at ceiling.
The master bedroom mattress needs replacing. The right side was worn down causing the person sleeping on the left to roll in that direction. (Not such a bad thing if you like your spouse!)
Two of the chairs on the balcony were broke. (One had a wood screw sticking out)
The disposal quit working mid week.
There was a nice wet bar area but the ice maker of did not work
All in all....the condo looked worn and dirty. The carpets were dirty and stained and the tile needed to be replaced desperately. Not what I expect when I'm on vacation. It was all I could do to not purchase a bunch of cleaning products at at the grocery and give this place some TLC!! If you do stay here, be sure to load up on some spirits....then maybe you wont notice all the dirtiness!
Other area activites- seafood, deep sea fishing, chartered boats, boat tours, lake-kayaking
