The extremely spacious side deck has a new redwood picnic table that seats up to 10 with additional benches for more seating. The gas grill is large enough to barbecue with friends.
Be sure to get out and enjoy the acreage! You'll find yoga mats and instruction book for sunrise salutations on the front deck. Or, set up the badminton or volleyball in the level area below. You'll enjoy birdwatching (see guidebook on coffee table). We frequently see bald eagles soaring above! Nothing is better than watching the full moon rise over the distant San Juans from the deck.
The house comes with a two-car garage but be warned! The spaces are standard but the center post makes it difficult for larger cars. If you use the garage with a larger car, pull the mirrors in before entry. There is plenty of room to park up to six cars on the driveway outside. Our driveway is short and flat with a side area paved for additional parking.
PLEASE NOTE: We really want you to have a wonderful time and typically refund 100% of the damage deposit if no visible damage is present. However, please treat our home like your home. Owner reserves the right to deduct fees from the $500 damage deposit:
1. If cleaning crew discovers that guests have brought a pet
2. If the house is left unusually dirty requiring more than the $150 normal cleaning fee.
3. If the guest has polluted the hot tub with bubbles, shampoo, soft drinks, or alcohol. This requires the tub to be drained and refilled and rebalanced. Yes, we've already had guests dump all that stuff into our nice new hot tub. Also, DO NOT TAKE ANY GLASS CONTAINERS into the tub. We have found some at the bottom and it is a real safety issue. Just don't do it.

About Chuck & Sarah Riehm
Our family has been coming to Colorado twice a year since we were first married in 1974--one summer hiking trip and one winter ski trip. The past few years the snow has been very disappointing at other major Colorado ski resorts so we thought we'd try Wolf Creek so booked a trip to Pagosa Springs in March 2013. We remember asking ourselves, 'How good could this ski resort BE with prices so low?' The answer is--GREAT! Chuck is an expert skiier who can tackle any run on the mountain and the rest of us are light blue. We found plenty of terrain for all of us at unbelievably low prices for lift tickets and rentals. Plus, we just fell in love with the natural beauty of the place. The fact that you can hike in real wilderness right outside your doorstep is a real draw. Plus, Pagosa offers so many other fun activities from concerts to live theater to the amazing hot springs to horseback riding and rafting.

Why Chuck & Sarah Riehm chose Twin Creek Village
We looked at property for days that would be suitable for our family. When we walked into 74 Walnut Place, we just KNEW! The view is amazing, plus the minute you walk in the door you feel like you are on vacation, with the soaring wood ceilings. We wanted something very UNLIKE a typical suburban ranch and believe we have found it at Liberty Ridge. Sarah is a writer with a number of books and plays published, including the play Liberty which was produced at the Kennedy Center and is headed for development in New York. The place is named for that sense of freedom you feel up here on the high ridge with the awe-inspiring views in every direction. Plus, she loves the office in the loft where she can look out over the mountains. Chuck loves the spacious outdoor decks with lots of room for picnics and parties.
What makes this House unique
The centerpiece of the property is the front prow deck with the hand-made gliders. Perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine as you watch the sun set. We also love the fact that a large crowd can gather comfortably in the great room at one time--yet there are enough quiet spots throughout the home so you can get away and have privacy when needed.

House was absolutely perfect with amazing views. Kids loved playing in the snow and sledding in the yard then soaking in the hot tub in the evening. Can’t wait to book again for next ski trip!
Perfect family vacation
Perfect vacation home for family of six. Fully stocked kitchen. Super comfortable.
Beautiful home. Great views. Close to activities.
Family vacation. Had a great time - played pool, hot tubbed, hot springs, hiked, went horseback riding, river rafting and just enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and views at the house. Ate a lot of meals at home - well stocked/equipped kitchen. Chuck and Sarah were great - checking in and making sure everything was perfect. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Pagosa Springs. Thanks!!
It felt like home! Very comfortable and easy to settle in.
My wife and I and our three kids loved the cabin. Our daughter claimed the recliner first thing and the boys each had their own couch (so no fighting over seating) and momma and I had the glider on the deck to enjoy the beautiful quiet view, perfect! The kids were never bored, they had a huge yard to play around in, a hot tub and plenty of room inside. The location was great, far enough out to be good and quiet but an easy drive to town. We would definitely stay here again! We didn't have any issues, but if we did, I have no doubt Chuck and Sarah would take care of it promptly for us. My favorite was enjoying a cold beer in the hot tub watching the kids play in the snow! If you have a big family this is the place for you!! One thing, the garage was tight width wise for my Tundra but I only needed in it once to pack up the night before we left.
Overall our stay was extreemly pleasent. The house is easy to find and in great proximity to downtown and an excellent headquarters if you are going to spend the week looking at all the tourist destinations. The house worked out for three men that could have their own bedrooms with baths. The kitchen and living area were perfect. Would highly recomend for any vacationer.
Beautiful and very comfortable cabin.
Just home from a week in Pagosa Springs and our cabin was the perfect place for my family of 5 as we enjoyed the outdoor adventures in the area. The cabin location is perfectly placed between fun in town and the wilderness very close to the north. Chuck and Sarah have done a great job equipping and maintaining the spacious and very comfortable cabin. In addition, they kept us informed of up to date information related to our stay and were very responsive to questions we had about our vacation wants and needs. Thanks, Chuck and Sarah, for sharing and helping make our vacation a 5-star experience! Chris
Pagosa Springs is the closest developed town to Wolf Creek Ski Resort just 22 miles away--with the best snow in Colorado. Wolf Creek is especially great for families, with snow twice as deep and lift tickets half the price of most other Colorado resorts. Although skiing is popular in winter, high season in Pagosa is summer time with the multitude of hiking, biking, horseback riding and rafting opportunities. Don't miss our spring season when our acreage comes alive with the most beautiful mountain wildflowers--or September or early October for lovely fall foliage. You'll never run out of things to do in Pagosa! You'll find a trailhead within easy walking distance into the almost two million acres of San Juan National Forest and the wild beauty of the Weminuche Wilderness.
