Beautiful, modern tri-level home, centrally located with a large roof top deck with gas fireplace, gas bbq and refrigerator. Dining table and lounge chairs are strategically placed for best day and night time views of the city skyline and Coronado bridge.

The great room has a disappearing wall of glass that opens to a large balcony. It is perfect for large gatherings and great conversation.

Kitchen, dining and balcony, all have views of the stone fireplace place and television. The kitchen is large and perfect for multiple cooks to prepare their dishes.

Plenty of seating is available, either at the island, at the dining table, in the club chairs and couch or outside on the balcony.

A second television is in the master bedroom.

Four large bedrooms each with either a king or queen sized bed. Two have their own private bathrooms. A large Jack and Jill bathroom with dual sinks is available on the first level for the 3rd and 4th bedroom.

We are an active family who plays lots of tennis and golf. Everything is within walking distance which we love. Once you arrive, you will not need a car.

What makes this house unique

We love sitting on the balcony with the paper and a cup of coffee and in the evenings after a stroll through the village we love hanging out on the roof top deck. Our kids have a blast boggie boarding at the beach, riding their bikes into town and playing at the local park.

This is the perfect property for either a short-term or long-term stay on Coronado. It is located on a quiet street with minimal traffic yet has quick access to both CA-75 and Orange Avenue. The beach is within easy walking distance as is everything else on the island.

The place is very well-equipped and complete with everything needed in terms of bedding, sheets and towels, kitchen utensils, dishes and silverware, pots and pans, small appliances, etc. We didn't feel like we were missing anything at all in any way. The Keurig coffee machine is an especially nice touch.

There is plenty of space with the fabulous rooftop view deck as the crowning element of the property. It has an absolutely stunning view of the San Diego skyline as you are lounging on the huge outdoor sectional. There is also a huge umbrella unit that is easy to deploy if shade is needed.

The main floor great room has plenty of seating and a 55" Samsung flat screen and A/V system with in-ceiling speakers. The island is good for breakfast or meals on the go, there is a convenient office space to the side of the kitchen area, and the enormous dining table set which seats eight people comfortably does not encroach on the living space at all. In addition to the counter-depth refrigerator, there is a wine cellar refrigerator within the island which proved to be very convenient.

The four bedrooms are located on the lowermost two floors and are isolated from the great room living area above so that noise isn't an issue for those that wish to retire earlier than everyone else upstairs.

We wanted to be sure to point out that all of the beds were great quality. This can oftentimes be an issue with VRBOs, but that is definitely not the case with this property. Again, the beds were all top-notch in comfort and everyone slept well.

Finally, there is a one-car garage that turned out to be a great place for storing our bags, bike and bike racks, and other items. In case you aren't able to bring your bikes, there are two beach cruisers and an air pump for your convenience.

All in all, this has to be one of the best values on the island. You'll be very happy should you choose to rent this property.

This home provided a wonderful family gathering over the holiday. It was spacious, comfortable, & welcoming. Gillian was especially helpful & professionally responsive in all ways. Having use of the bicycles was an added bonus. The house was accurately pictured & we would recommend it without any reservations.

Amazing experience! ¡Encantada!

It was our first time renting a holiday house and we had such a great experience!

My parents came from Brazil to visit us and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! The house is exactly as seen in pictures! The kitchen is fully equiped and the beds with warm and new linen.. Gillian, the owner, is very kind! She helped us finding a cleaning lady and always very helpfull answering any question or doubt! The location is just great, lovely neighborhood! There are 2 bikes in the house, so you can go around all over the island and you don't even need to use de car... Everything is walking distance! My parents, my husband, our dog and I had a wonderfull and unforgetable time! Thank you very much Gillian!! We will be back :)

Mis padres vinieron de Brasil para visitarnos y no podríamos haber elegido un lugar mejor para alojarnos! La casa es exactamente como se ve en las fotos! La cocina está totalmente equipada y las habitaciones dispondrían de toallas y sábanas nuevas .. Gillian, la propietaria, es muy amable! Ella nos ayudó a encontrar una señora de la limpieza y siempre muy dispuesta a contestar cualquier pregunta o duda! La ubicación es simplemente genial, el barrio encantador! Hay 2 bicicletas en la casa, así que puedes pasear por toda la isla y casi no necesitas utilizar el coche ... Es posible hacer casi todo a pié! Mis padres, mi marido, nuestra perrita y yo tuvimos una vacaciones maravillosas e inolvidable! Muchas gracias Gillian, volveremos :)

This house is in such an ideal spot, close to Ferry Landing and Spreckles Park. Great for visiting grandchildren. Walking distance to doggy beach and The Del.

Gillian is a wonderful host and responds very timely to questions/needs. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous!

This is the first time we have rented a house. Normally we travel for two to three weeks in the summer and stay at Four Seasons or a similar hotel chain. I LOVE having a house! We are hooked! The property on 5th Street is open and airy. It is amazing that you can leave the doors open all day and have not a single bug fly in. The kitchen is super user friendly as is the television. I actually brought along an amazon fire stick and my daughter and I got to binge watch a couple of series on Net Flix. The location is awesome. It is an easy walk to both the ferry at the pier and down town. I barely had to get into my car. The ferry gives you great access to San Diego. We took our grandchildren to a Padres game via ferry and they loved it! There is a gym only a few blocks away...Great restaurants...and of course the beach less than a mile away. I will definitely be trying to book this property again for next summer. LOVED IT!!! I can't wait to come back in August to another one of the owners properties!
