About the Property
Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4 or 6 with pull out sofa)
Two bedrooms each with a queen bed.
Soak in the claw foot tub.
Sit on the deck and see miles and miles of the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains.
Marvel at the number of stars and fireflies you can see at night.
Spend your days relaxing and letting your dog run on the 21 acres, or mosey down the mountain for the many many nearby activities. There will be something for everyone.
Spend your evenings snuggled inside by a fire in the fireplace built from stone gathered on the property or gather around the outdoor firepit to roast marshmallows, make smores, and tell ghost stories.
The Cabin was built in 1963. We have updated it just a bit for comfort but we treasure the place so we believe we have maintained its charm. We think you'll agree.
In keeping with the peaceful setting of The Cabin and the surrounding acreage, the discharging of any firearms is strictly forbidden on the property. We appreciate your cooperation.

The cabin is on 21 acres where your dog will love to run. We live on the same acreage, but you can't see one home from the other although you could walk from one to the other.

Year Purchased: 1998
About the owner: After I bought The Cabin in 1998, my husband became a mountain lover too. Being in the mountains reminds me of the old Native American, Nesmuk, who is credited with saying, 'We don't come out here to rough it. We come out here to smooth it. Things are rough enough in town.' Just driving up the road to the place creates a feeling of serenity we don't find anywhere else. We're sure you'll agree.
Why the Owner Chose Newland, NC, USA:
