A quick but lovely stay

  • 5 of 5

The A-Frame was spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you'd want for a cabin in the woods. Plenty of cups, plates and silverware, linens and bath towels provided. The owner had the heat in the unit up and running exactly right in advance of our arrival. The wifi worked perfectly. Loved the location just down the road from route 3 above Lake Francis. Would stay again! Plenty of ice melt available in a tub on the front porch a nice touch.

Awesome !!

  • 5 of 5

Awesome place to call home while in the wilds of Northern NH !! For the flyfisher it's right on River Rd literally across the street from the trophy section of the Connecticut River and one minute to the boat ramp on Lake Francis.......can't ask for anything better than that !! The homeowners Bob and Theresa are absolutely wonderful people to rent from making the whole rental process a snap from start to finish. The house itself is warm, comfortable and fully stocked.......just show up and enjoy !! We will most certainly choose their home again for future stays in Pittsburg. Thanks Bob and Theresa for everything !!

Absolutely wonderful property to relax and get in touch with the wilderness!

  • 5 of 5

Fully stocked, beautiful A frame. Cozy and very clean. We loved the place and the area so much we were lucky enough to extend our stay two more days than originally planned. Spoke to Theresa and Bob a couple of times before and during the stay. They are wonderful and willing to help with anything! Originally in the area to fulfill my moose obsession since I've never seen one. We seeked them morning, noon, and night. In all the hotspots locally at moose alley, route 16 & 26. We were lucky enough to see one in moose alley just past Magalloway Road. And one on route 16. And then spotted one again in moose alley area but no pic of this one only heard it snorting at us while we were walking the road trying to snap a pic. 😀? The property was a great location. Somewhat Secluded and private. One Neighbor pretty close on only one side and were doing some construction on their own house. But we were in relax mood so the noises were not too bothersome. Only thing the cabin is missing was a dust pan. For my OCD of cleaning. Lol. And it would be a great addition to make the fire pit area easier to sit chairs around it a little further back since it's a little unlevel. This property is just fabulous and if it had wifi I would never want to leave to go back home. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us for a much needed get away. We will definitely see this property again very soon for another vacation with more family next time. It's so nice we want to share it with others!!

Great Place To Fish & Hunt Out Of

  • 5 of 5

We have been renting from Bob & Theresa for a while now, great people to work with, they go out of their way to help whatever you need. We have been fishing & hunting out of their house for about 5 years now and it is great, just go down the road & you are at Lake Francis to fish, We go across the street & deer hunt. The house is immaculate & has everything there you need. I would highly recomend this house, you will not be sorry you did.
