About Property Manager
We are business owners/designers who have lived in the neighborhood with our family for almost 10 years. We love the quiet on our block and the small town feel - yet happy that we're a stones throw from Manhattan and walking distance to some of Brooklyn's best and most vibrant restaurants, performance spaces, bars and cafes.

This apartment was beautiful!
We had an amazing time. The apartment is perfect, has everything we needed. Easy walk to subway. Parking was easy and very safe neighborhood. I would highly recommend this property!
Perfect NYC get away
This was the perfect option for our family. The drive in was not bad at all. The only major traffic we ran into was entering the George Washington Bridge. We were able to park right out front. The walk to the subway was a bit long, but not too bad. The ride to Manhattan was about 15 minutes. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. I would stay here again.
Loved This Apartment
Loved staying in this apartment. The apartment is on a cobblestone street and has a lot of history. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Any issues that we had were responded to very quickly. We were glad we found this place, it made a great home base for our NYC weekend.
Very clean. Safe neighborhood. Convenient nearby groceries, coffee shops etc.
Second bedroom virtually unusable as it is only a small room between main bedroom and the rest of the apartment. You have to go through 2nd BR in order to get to the bathroom or anywhere else in the apartment, so very inconvenient for all if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The towels also had a distinctly unpleasant rancid odor to them--every single one, as well as the kitchen towels. I can't explain it--maybe they were left wet for days in the washer, but the smell was quite disgusting to the point where we preferred to air dry rather than use them. Bed linens, on the other hand, were fine.
We are so sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience with the towels! Our cleaner dries all of our towels and sheets on high heat — not sure exactly what happened in this instance but you can rest assured that all towels have been replaced and inspected since we received this review and our cleaner has also been notified. The owners live on the same block and had they been made aware of your concerns during your stay, they would have of course, resolved the issue immediately! Should you choose to book one of our apartments in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any concerns as soon as they come up. We are committed to ensuring that our guests have a pleasant stay. As for the apartment layout, that's clearly shown in the listing and photos (which also includes a birds-eye view rendering of the apartment layout for prospective guests) . The second bedroom is a lovely bedroom with a custom captain's bed and additional trundle as needed. We have had many repeat guests over the years and this apartment is one of the top favorites, we are sorry that in this instance it did not meet your travel group's expectations. Best wishes and thanks again for choosing our apartment for your NYC visit.
Beautiful home, clean, super friendly and helpful owner
A colleague of mine and I were attending a workshop in NYC and chose this place to stay. It was super clean, such a CUTE and NICE kitchen. We loved our stay! It even has an adorable private garden off the back, which we definitely took advantage of on a warm summer night.
Thank you for choosing our apartment for your stay and for the lovely review. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay!
Straddling the neighborhoods of Bushwick, Brooklyn and Ridgewood, Queens, the apartment is 5 blocks away from the Dekalb Street 'L' train station in Brooklyn—one of the best subway lines in the city. Union Square, the heart of downtown Manhattan, is only 15 minutes away via a direct subway ride; Williamsburg, Brooklyn's stylish boutiques, bars and restaurants are only a 7 minute train ride away. Ours is a quieter, more residential neighborhood, but it is in an exciting stage of growth. In the last 5 years there has been a huge influx of artists and creatives in our immediate area. As a result, there is now a solid (and rapidly growing) number of stylish cafes, restaurants, wine bars, art galleries, yoga studios, and a great 24-hour gourmet/organic grocery store all within a 10-12 minute walk from the apartment. There are also local Italian bakeries, Halal butcher shops, Equadorian bodegas, Polish food markets and the best tasting Mexican tamales we've ever come across. All relevant information can be found in our Guest Welcome binder in the apartment and we hope that you will explore these local gems during your visit.
