House was clean, comfortable, and very big
We had a great time in Orleans. It was in a very convenient location to get to lots of great beaches and restaraunts. The house fit our family of 6 and we had lots of extra space(actually had an empty bedroom and a few empty beds). The yard was great for playing wiffle ball!
Fantastic Retreat!!! A Home Away From Home!
We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful, user friendly home! It was perfect for a wonderful, family re- union of 6 adults and 7 children. From the moment we arrived.... The house was immaculately clean. The kitchen was large for the whole family to enjoy! The bedrooms, were cozy and beds comfortable. The back yard was great for playing hide and seek, baseball and more.... You could not go wrong from this wonderful abode. Great location...Thank You Joanne, for making your stay as warm, comfortable and inviting which helped make this a memorable summer vacation of 2018. Definitely, would like to rent this house again if we are in this area. Recommendations... not much to say, but it would be nice if there is a fire pit to make s’mores from. 😬😉
Lovely, charming house in a great location
Our family of 6 stayed in this house and it was perfect! Everything was just as described. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped (at least 12 dinner plates and plenty of glassware). This house is a 10 minute drive to Central Orleans and 15 minutes to Brewster or Chatham. If you have little kids the huge fenced in yard will be perfect for them. The BEST part of our stay was how thoughtful, caring, and accommodating the owner was. She encouraged us to call her anytime if we had any questions or issues. We would certainly come back!
Perfect House for Big Families
This house was perfect for what we needed! All the rooms were big and open which made it perfect for my big family. The big backyard and parking area also made it easy for everyone to park and meet up. Joanne was super easy to work with and check in/out was quick and simple. Finding this place made it easy for all of my family to stay with each other for my wedding.
Spacious and clean
Perfect location. Central to everything. House was comfortable and spacious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots of fun things to do and restaurants to enjoy.
Lucky Enough in Orleans
Our large family of 6 adults and 6 children and a much beloved dog enjoyed a glorious week at Lucky Enough on Cape Cod. The grandchildren loved the yard and had lots of fun playing whiffle ball and tag and just running. The house was large enough for all of us to be comfortable. The outside shower was especially useful after beach days at Skaket Beach.
The house is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches. There was also plenty of parking for four cars.
We really enjoyed the deck area and having enough room in the kitchen for all of us to eat meals together.
All in all, a wonderful vacation. When asked if she would like to come back, our 6 year old granddaughter gave an enthusiastic yes!
Well located near Pleasant Bay and just a few minutes to world famous Nauset Beach on the National Seashore, where you can enjoy long stretches of white sand, and good waves for boogie boards. You may even see a seal or two as you stroll along the shore. The beach is served by a takeout restaurant, 'Liam's' where there are fried clams, burgers and killer onion rings to be found. There is also a changing facility and rest rooms next door. 'Lucky Enough' is also handy to both Chatham Village and Orleans Center for a great selection of casual and fine dining options and boutique shopping.
