Great Place to Stay!

  • 4 of 5

Nice and clean condo!! Loved that it was within walking distance to the park next door which had a much nicer beach to swim! Free admission with proof of stay too! Could have used more wash cloths for showers and noisy from road traffic when out on patio. Would come here again though because great value for what you get!!

Really enjoyed our stay!

The pool so was perfect to add to our daily routine. We took nightly walks around the property. The kids all slept very well in their own beds! There was lots of space for everyone! Thanks so much!

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay at Islamorada in this lovely home. The place is really nice, and we had plenty of room for all of us. We had four adults and three children and all fit comfortably. It was a very short walk to the private beach area and the private pier, which we loved fishing off of almost every day. The fishing was excellent and perfect for the kids. We do suggest to bring you some of the water shoes as the rocks are pretty hard on the feet down at the beach. No need to pack chairs though as they have plenty of the lounge chairs out there and normally we shaded under the palm trees. We would certainly come back and rent this property again some day. The owner was really nice and responsive of all of our questions.

Tropical Paradise/Exec. Bay #358023

  • 5 of 5

My family of four--two adults, two teens--spent a wonderful week here. The property is exactly as pictured, and in excellent and clean condition. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped; I was especially pleased to have even a coffee bean grinder so I could enjoy my favorite coffees. I don't remember how many people the unit claims to sleep. The MBR is great with a comfortable king bed; the 2nd bedroom has two queens--great for my teens to stretch out in. That 2nd BR also has a bunk bed, so two more children could sleep. In a small loft area above this room, accessible by ladder, there is a sleeper sofa. The person sleeping up there would have to be old enough to be careful coming down the ladder if necessary in the middle of the night, and young enough to be able to do so! With the two sofas downstairs (regular, not sleeper sofas), you could go up to 9. One thing I think is important is that there is a circular staircase (in most if not all of these Executive Bay Units, I believe) that isn't so easy to negotiate. My husband has ankle/Achilles issues, and he managed, albeit slowly and carefully; my teens and I were OK, but anyone with an issue might want to consider this. The back beach area--something that was very important to us--was really nice. You should know, however, that, like most areas in the Keys, it's not a beach with a gradual, sandy decline into the water. There is actually a little wall, maybe 1.5-2.0 feet, and then the water, with rocks, etc. My point is that I wouldn't walk from the lounger directly down into the water without water shoes, because it's a rough walk! It can be done, but I would definitely recommend water shoes so that you're comfortable. This back area is wonderful, however, and we thoroughly enjoyed sunbathing, watching the sunset, the boats coming and going, etc. The boats and lighthouse are very scenic, and the covered pier is wonderful to hang out with your fisher-folk, etc. I think there might be a fish -cleaning station too. The aquatic life is wonderful--we saw rays and many fish from the pier and while snorkeling the area. There are small barracuda, but as any snorkeler/diver knows, they don't want to bother you. My one complaint is that the propane tank on grill was empty; we didn't want to use precious time to refill tank and get reimbursed, so we had to do without. About 1.5 hr from MIA, 1.5 to Key West. Great area; responsive owner. Would definitely consider staying again.

Wedding fun

  • 5 of 5

My 2 sisters and their spouses, plus my husband and I spent 5 nights here while in Islamorada for our nephew's wedding. Part of the time some of our adult children spent time with us there. We were very satisfied with everything and appreciated the comfort & roominess of the condo. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the owner. We would not hesitate to return there!

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

The owner was very accommodating. The pictures don't even do the place justice. It is one of the bigger condos I have ever stayed in. Unit was very clean upon arrival and just as pictured. The pool and the pier in the complex are great. Very good fishing off the pier. Caught everything from barracuda to bonnethead sharks. In close proximity to Winn Dixie and some good restaraunts. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
