About Richard Ham
I first moved to this area in 1974 and fell in love with the lifestyle and pace of life. I've made my living over the years as a contractor and rental property owner. I particularly like the vacation rental business, as i get to meet a lot of great people and can introduce them to our beautiful area.
Richard Ham purchased this House in 2004
Why Richard Ham chose Pass-a-grille

Had a great time staying in this cozy beach bungalow. Very convenient to great restaurants and beautiful Pass-a-Grille Beach. The owner provides everything you could possibly need. We look forward to staying here again!
Great location, but needs a makeover!
The location is great, a stone's throw from the beach and the cottage benefits from a great pool, however the accomodation is tired and needs a makeover, in particular the bathroom.
Some minor repairs are also required, as is general refreshing of the decor. We had a great time and loved the experience, but would perhaps suggest a little tlc is required?
Home away from home!
Absolutely adore this place! Spotlessly clean, comfy, quiet, comvient, slept like babies, jacuzzi is perfect! Amazed at the extra ammentitjes! We live in NC, family lives in St. Pete...this will ALWAYS be our home away from home when we visit!
Would stay again
Cute little place. Would stay again. Clean.
Has everything you need. Can walk to beach and all the places to eat too.
My husband, our granddaughter and the family dog, Lamont returned on July 1st for our third visit to this great little house. We love the location, where my husband can fish from the dock and we can walk to the beach, less than 5 minutes in either direction. The house is always fully stocked with plenty of sheets, blankets, towels and pillows, and the kitchen has everything we need to prepare meals while we're there. We love having the little yard for our dog, and we always use the gas grill. My granddaughter and I enjoy taking the trolley, which has stops less than two blocks away, to explore shopping and restaurants further up St. Pete beach. A dinner at the nearby Hurricane restaurant is always part of our visit, and we try to have breakfast at The Seahorse while we're staying there. This year, for the first time, we had use of the screened pool, which you list on this page as "private". Unfortunately we found out it was a shared pool on July 4th, when 6 people showed up to use the pool for the holiday, and told us we were not supposed to be using it in the first place. Needless to say, that put a damper on our Independence Day fun. Otherwise, it was another great vacation at this little house.
I'm glad that in general, you had a good time. Regarding the incident with the pool, the property has recently been sold and the new owner occasionally allows some of his friends to use the pool. In this particular incident, there was a language barrier and the friends were not informed that it was a shared pool. Ninety five percent of the time, our guests will have the pool to themselves. We're sorry for the confusion.
Pass-a-Grille beach has been rated one of the top beaches in the country; featuring beautiful white sugar sand, turquoise waters and warm breezes. Pass-A-Grille is a quaint and historic village located on the south end of St. Pete Beach. Here the pace of life is slower and more relaxed. Everything from the beach, to restaurants and shopping is within easy walking distance.
