Modern and clean in lovely location
Molly is a great host. As I was planning the trip, she was very responsive to my questions and was always kind and helpful.
The property is walking distance from the waterfront and lots of shops. I'd cal the layout of the house artsy and quirky. The space is very clean and open, which is lovely for spending time with family and friends, but it doesn't let itself to a lot of privacy. There are no barriers between the showers and bedrooms other than the glass shower doors. While having to take turns being in the room to shower wasn't great, it didn't detract much from the overall experience since we could wait in the lovely dining room with some coffee.
My only complaint is that the listing says the house accommodates 7 guests, when there are only enough beds for 6.
Nice place, very large space. Didn't care for the stairs. Would have been nice to have an oven, but we made out alright. Love the area, wish it had been a bit warmer, but the weather was cold all over the country.
So peaceful and quiet, with no noisy neighbors and relatively light street traffic at all times. Easy walking distance to everything in historic St. Marys, and a very nicely equipped unit with everything needed for a comfy stay.
Can't Wait for a Repeat!!!
Loved our stay at The Loft in St. Marys! The property was beyond our expectations and ideal when traveling with a pet! It's within walking distance to downtown and the ferry to Cumberland Island. Molly, Thanks for sharing your property.
Staying in the Loft was the perfect location for our Cumberland Island adventures. It is very spacious and the accomodations were great. The Loft even included a crock pot. After our long day out on Cumberland Island we came home to find our supper already cooked! Perfect!
The loft is a REALLY neat place. Lots of space and just a wonderful atmosphere. It has everything you need. we totally enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Molly for sharing your place.
