Why Kate Culligan & Josh Comfort chose Taos
We visited Taos several years ago and fell in love with the light and beauty of the town. We were looking at vacation properties in the Colorado mountains but settled on Taos since the people, art and spirituality of the town were unique. We've never looked back after purchasing Kiva.
What makes this House unique
Kiva will immediately restore your sanity and refresh your creativity. Staying in an adobe with walls that are two-feet thick gives you a sense of serentiy and safety. The beauty of the Native American artifacts, baskets, pottery and textiles will surround you with grace. Walk to the plaza or head to the gorgeous mountains that surrond Taos.

Perfect getaway home away from home
Beautiful and fully equipped. Warm, inviting and beautifully decorated.
Great place. Easy walk to Plaza, restaurants and bars
This is a beautiful, well appointed adobe house. Loved the private patio for my morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Easy walk to the Plaza and the local restaurants. Amazingly quiet and peaceful at night (especially coming from a big city!). The kitchen was well appointed which made making meals easy since restaurants and stores close early in Taos (9pm). I really enjoyed my stay at Kiva and definitely would stay again!
So glad you enjoyed your stay at Kiva. We really enjoyed making sure the casita is perfect for our guests
Lovely place, great caretaker
Well located for walking Taos, as well as, venturing farther afield. Attractively and comfortably furnished. Wayne is the caretaker and couldn't have been be more helpful.
This is a nice, quite, close in spot. Worth every penny.
The house was very well thought out. A priority for us was that the kitchen was equipt to do some light cooking and it more than was. Not only did it have cook ware but also basis spices . So we cooked breakfast every day we were there
The living room and bedrooms and dining area everything was nicely done. Well decorated and made us feel like we were staying in a piece of Taos history
We didn't get to use the hot tub but it looked nice.
Beds were comfortable and the entire place was cozy
There was some slight noise at night but I suppose that goes without saying when living close to nature . One suggestion would be to get a bigger tv but otherwise everything else was spot on
Will stay again if in Taos
Great little place in Taos
My son and I went to Taos for skiing vacation and stayed at Kiva in March 2016. Kiva was just what we needed. Well located to the Plaza and the rest of Taos, well appointed with Taos themed decor, and had all the amenities that we needed. After a long day of skiing it was great to hop in the hot tub for a while each afternoon. The bed was comfortable; the bathroom nice; the washer and dryer came in handy as well. I would definitely stay there again if I go back and only need one bedroom.
The Plaza was not far away. We drove each time since the crowds were down, but you could walk it fairly quickly if you needed to. The restaurants were good to. Bella's was great, and The Gorge was good as well.
The skiing was fantastic. Took about 30 minutes to get to Taos Ski Valley, but it was an easy drive and there were essentially no lift lines at all.
Walk to wonderful art galleries and museums and fabulous restaurants. Taos Pueblo is just a few miles away-visit Native Americans who continue to live there and create original crafts and perform wonderful ceremonies.
