My Smokey Mountain Vacation

  • 4 of 5

My family of 6 stayed at Cabin 3 , Mountain Gem. It was a nice little cabin, with a Great View. We stayed 3 nights.

The king bed was comfortable , but I'm not sure if the bottom sheet was cleaned before we got into bed. It had a stain on it? I'm not sure what it was. The MB has a HUGE tub. But no shower. So if you wanted to take a shower you had to go upstairs. And the teens that stayed in the LR didn't have access to either bathroom without disturbing the sleeping people in the beds. So they went outside to pee in the middle of the night. The kitchen has most everything that you might need except baking dishes. Bring extra towels unless you want to do laundry. And when we were getting ready to leave , the directions on where to put the garbage were not clear. The only dumpster that we saw was at the entrance and a backhoe was sitting on top of the lid, and itcouldn't be opened. So we left the trash in a neat pile in the cabin. I would stay again , it was a great location, pretty clean. And reasonable priced.

Great deal

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay! For the price this is a great cabin. It had all the amenities you'd want for a little mountain getaway and an AMAZING view. We were staying for my husband's birthday and we're grateful that we were allowed to have family come visit. The property management group was easy to work with, quick to reply, and very accommodating.

Beautiful and cozy

  • 5 of 5

I very much enjoyed staying at this cabin. The cabin is lovely inside and out. Very tidy and made me feel at home. The outdoor hot tub was a relaxing end to days of hiking, and it had a great view too! Will be booking again in the future.

Very clean and BEAUTIFUL view!

  • 4 of 5

Loved our stay at this cabin; we are a family of 6 (4 little ones aged 2-6yrs). Everything we needed was there; well maintained cabin with tasteful décor! The only down side for us was that it didn't have a washer/dryer or a dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and kids really enjoyed jetted garden tub for bath time! We chose this cabin due to it's close proximity to Cades Cove. Didn't use the horse stables or zip lines, but they are located on your way to the cabin, convenient;)
