Nice house in a great location
I’m not big on writing reviews, however my family and I did enjoy our stay at the house. Everything was provided including lots of new towels. The only thing that would have been nice to have was AC. The week of our visit was in the 90’s, and the upstairs tended to heat up by the end of the day when we returned to the house. Fans and windows always allowed us to cool it down in time for sleep. Overall great experience in a cool National Park.
So glad that you had a good stay and enjoyed the park! That was an unusually hot spell for Maine.
Lovely place with all the amenities, and location was nice, isolated, but close to trail heads.
Its my first stay, so hard to compare. But we enjoyed the location, the house, and its amenities. Very lovely, we would stay again.
We're so glad you enjoyed it and would love to have you back.
It was a really nice house, but outdated. The one thing that we did not like was the master bathroom: the shower had barely any pressure and the toilet did not drain well. Overall, if you want to feel secluded while still being close to town and don't mind a few quirks, this is the house for you.
Perfectly situated in the quiet woods but steps from a nice hike.
The house was roomy, clean and well equipped. We were close to Acadia but in a nice, quiet part of the island with mostly locals nearby. We had a beautiful trail walking distance from our rental house and the water was right across the street. It was a perfect location for our family of 6. We can't wait to come back and will stay here again if possible.
Fantastic vacation property
If you want to be tucked away on the quiet side, Wolf Pine is a great choice! Off the beaten path, but a short drive from everything. The house was well maintained and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We cooked our own breakfast every morning, and enjoyed it on the patio. Much easier than wrangling everyone up to go out to a restaurant. I really don't have anything to complain about. Ruth was great to work with, and the importance of your satisfaction is apparent.
Perfect Memorial Day Weekend Stay
We rented Wolf Pine for an extended Memorial Day weekend and I can saw that we could not be happier with our choice! Location was great as you can easily get to every part of MDI from there. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. My son especially enjoyed staying in the loft section which he refers to as 'The Roost'. I recommend this location if you want to enjoy more than just Bar Harbor.
