Property description

A house in Pleasure Point…a dream come true for us. Permit number 151171. Three bedrooms, one and a half baths, a good-size kitchen, large yard. Enjoy the magnificent view of Monterey Bay out the living room window or from the front porch chairs. Experience beautiful Pleasure Point and the walking and bike trails that meander along the bluff overlooking the Bay. You can also take a short path to the family-friendly 26th Ave. beach.

The house is located in the Santa Cruz sunbelt in one of the best neighborhoods in Pleasure Point, a world-famous surfing destination. Shopping, groceries and restaurants are all nearby in either Capitola or Santa Cruz, and don’t miss the historic Boardwalk—always a big hit with the kids. We have four adult bicycles (no helmets, please bring your own) for riding along the Point or through the quiet neighborhoods. We also have a barbeque, picnic table, and furniture in the large back yard, a great place to enjoy the sun. We like to walk down to the bluff every evening and watch the magnificent sunsets over Monterey Bay.

Recent improvements include a cozy gas fireplace, and upgrades to the heating system.

We have a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and 42' flat screen TV (with Blu-Ray player). Our Master bedroom has a Queen size bed with 1/2 bath attached. Additional bedroom has a queen bed also, and the third room has two twin beds.

All of our neighbors live in Santa Cruz full time and are our friends. We want guests to respect them and our precious family get away. We hope you will enjoy Santa Cruz as much as we have and that you will have a relaxing vacation at our special home away from home.

About the owner: Mike and I call Modesto our home and have rasied our 2 children there. We love Santa Cruz, the Boardwalk, beach, the fabulous sunsets and sharing all of that with family and friends.

Why the Owner Chose Opal Cliffs, CA, USA:
Having a vacation home in Santa Cruz has been a dream of our family for many generations. We have spent summers there as long as I can remember. We love the relaxed atmosphere of Santa Cruz, fabulous beaches, quaint shops, and of course the fun nights spent at the SC Beach Boardwalk!

Unobstructed view of the ocean from the house. Walk one block to watch surfers at Pleasure Point - a famous surf spot. Take a short walk to the local 26th avenue beach for sunbathing and ocean play.
