Why Jennie Pinto chose Florida North Central

Cedar Key has an abundance of all the things we love. We were welcomed immediately in the community and felt like we were home the first time we visited in 2008. This lead us to make friends that visited Maine and we returned to make this a special and permanent part of our lives. Great people, nice restaurants and super outdoor and ocean activities are all we need.

What makes this house unique

Cedar Key has a wonderful historical past with 2 small interesting museums, great fishing from the piers, shore or a boat. The abundance of sea birds, dolphins and fish species is amazing. Cedar Key is also home to some talented artists and interesting community activities as well.

Perfect vacation place.

We rented the Creamsicle Cottage for the month of July, 2014. We just loved it. We especially liked that the house was built all on ground level, no stairs! There was no carpet in the house, so it was easy to keep clean. Everything that we needed for the month was in the house except for groceries, of course. The Market, Cedar Key's grocery store, was only a 2 block walk. Dock Street, where most of the restaurants and entertainment were, was another 2 blocks. We walked sometimes and rented a golf cart sometimes. The living area of the cottage was one big open room, so if you were in the kitchen you were still a part of what was going on in the living room and could see the tv too. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer!
