ideal apartment

This is a well equipped, well-furnished, compact apartment. The owners are extremely friendly and always ready to be helpful. The building in which the flat is situated is relatively small, quiet, always clean, well maintained and easy of access. There is a lot of building work going on in this area of Montreal at the moment, but the apartment is so well insulated for sound that one is not disturbed by the resulting heavy traffic.

Shopping is easy in the surrounding area, whether for food or many other services. Connections to the city centre/downtown are fairly good, although not of the best : two bus services with stops just outside the apartment both go to the same very busy metro station, Bonaventure, but strangely there is no bus connection to the nearer metro station, Lucien L'allier, which can only be reached on foot (or, of course, taxi) - a 12-15 minute walk. Both stations, however, are on the same line and deliver you quickly to the main central areas.

Altogether, we who have stayed in a large number of apartments in Montreal would highly recommend this one as among the best we have had, with the bonus of outstandingly nice owners.

Great location!

Everything we wanted!

Zulema and Pedro, the owners, were wonderful! Very helpful, informative, and friendly - Zulema met us at the condo to orient us even though we arrived after 12:30 am! They came and helped us get our roku hmdi stick to work in the smart flat screen tv, and purchased grilling utensils and baking sheets for us to use while there. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable! We stayed in # 312, which is not the one shown here ( they have two condos) - ours had a separate bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. It had a leather couch in the LR, and a nice size balcony with two patio chairs and a small table. The dining area had a round glass table with 4 chairs, and the kitchen was well equipped - we fixed all of our breakfasts, and several dinners while there. The condo bldg has a very nice roof top terrace with great city views, several sitting areas, two BBQ grills, and a pool - we enjoyed taking a drink up there to enjoy sunsets over the city. The location was great - a good grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, and small bakery just about 4 blocks away. The Lachine Canal, with walking and biking paths, was just about three blocks away. A metro station was about a 6 block walk. We did not have a car, so walked or took the metro everywhere. Old Montreal was an easy 10 - 15 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this condo! And we would definitely choose to stay there again if we return to Montreal. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was construction going on a block away that started about 7:00 am, so woke us up earlier than we would have liked - no reflection on the condo or owners at all. The condo was actually very quiet, but could not completely block the pounding sounds.

What a wonderful condo and such a nice family

I wrote a review yesterday, but just got a request again.

Perfect location for me, the condo was perfectly equipped. Clean and modern. So comfortable!

Next time I visit Montreal, I would DEFINITELY stay here again. Pedro and Zulema and Yulima (I'm sorry if I spelled your names wrong!) were super great hosts. They checked on me to make sure I was happy. Not only did I love the condo, I feel like I made some good friends in Montreal with them.

Lovely, well-equipped apartment with excellent landlords

We have just completed our second stay at Pedro and Zulema's condo. It was a joy returning to such a beautifully equipped, spotless, apartment, and such a pleasure to realize that we could trust that our second experience would be as nice as the first -- which it fully was!
