It has a private entrance and windows that face a charming brick paved street. It is furnished with a queen sleigh bed, full antique bed and twin iron daybed with trundle, accommodating up to 4 adult guests and 2 children.

There is a flat-screen TV, an iPhone/iPod docking station/alarm clock, a dining table with 6 chairs, a spacious, windowed kitchen that comes equipped with a brand new Bosch dishwasher, filtered water dispenser, coffeemaker, food processor, blender, luxury Bertazzoni range, microwave, refrigerator and all the bakeware, cookware, and utensils you will need. There is also a large capacity Electrolux washer/dryer for your private use.

There is a writing desk there for your convenience, as well as high speed wireless internet (WiFi) access.

Historic charm in a quiet, clean and attractive place

The apartment was as represented and photographed, with clean and comfortable beds, very nice bathroom & kitchen, and located conveniently in a quiet neighborhood close to a subway station. The occupancy and check out instructions were clear, and the apartment was very roomy, with tall ceilings and good sized rooms. Great for a trip to New York, and we would definitely recommend to fellow travelers. I hope to stay there again, next time I'm in New York.

Beautiful and spacious home on a quiet street

This unit was surprisingly large and well-appointed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and included large, new, high-end appliances. The unit also provided environmentally conscious cleaning products. The property management team was easily reachable, conveyed absolutely everything we needed to know, were professional and kind. We felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay and will definitely stay there again soon.

wonderful stay in a beautifully renovated home

We loved our stay in this clean and well stocked apartment. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The appliances were top notch and in great working order. There were only two limitations to the place, but these were definitely manageable given how wonderful everything else was. The third bedroom was next to the master, and you had to walk through it to get to the master - not a problem if your kids are small. Our kids are grown adults, so it was a bit awkward. More problematic was that there was only one bathroom to be shared with five people. The bathroom was super nice, so it was hard for us to complain. With everyone on the same schedule, it did make having only one bathroom, a bit problematic, but manageable. We absolutely loved our stay, and highly recommend this clean, well maintained and well managed apartment. Kermit was very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Completely Blown Away!!

This home is beautiful! Very cosy and close to everything. Anything that you would need in a home is there. I was nervous prior to coming because I thought the pictures were too good to be true, but it's even more beautiful in person. The pictures don't do justice. This home is gorgeous and we will be booking again.

Clean, bright and spacious

We were a family of 5, parent with 3 teenagers travelling for Thanksgiving. The apartment was perfect for us. Plenty of room to spread out, comfortable furniture and well equipped kitchen. The apartment is even better than the pictures suggest, which is not always the case! The apartment was very clean and the property manager very responsive. The apartment is located about a 10-15 minute walk to either the L or the M subways. (we walk slowly) Getting into Manhattan was a breeze. The neighborhood is very safe and feels like a "real" neighborhood. The street is brick paved and has a very cozy feel to it. We were not there long enough to fully enjoy the area, but the owners provide an extensive list of restaurants, cafes etc. in the area. Everything in the apartment was tastefully done, the owners did not cut corners on quality when renovating. Nice tiles in kitchen and bath and high quality furniture. Nothing was cheaply done. We travel quite a bit and rent all kinds of places and this has to be one of the best places we have ever rented. Thanks so much!!!

Straddling the neighborhoods of Bushwick, Brooklyn and Ridgewood, Queens, the apartment is 5 blocks away from the Dekalb Street 'L' train station in Brooklyn—one of the best subway lines in the city. Union Square, the heart of downtown Manhattan, is only 15 minutes away via a direct subway ride; Williamsburg, Brooklyn's stylish boutiques, bars and restaurants are only a 7 minute train ride away.

Ours is a quieter, more residential neighborhood, but it is in an exciting stage of growth. In the last 5 years there has been a huge influx of artists and creatives in our immediate area. As a result, there is now a solid (and rapidly growing) number of stylish cafes, restaurants, wine bars, art galleries, yoga studios, and a great 24-hour gourmet/organic grocery store all within a 10-12 minute walk from the apartment. There are also local Italian bakeries, Halal butcher shops, Equadorian bodegas, Polish food markets and the best tasting Mexican tamales we've ever come across. All relevant information can be found in our Guest Welcome binder in the apartment and we hope that you will explore these local gems during your visit.
