Clean exceptable accommodations, nothing fancy
Bathrooms and kitchen recently renovated and were very nice. Most comfortable mattresses were the bunk beds. Oven and DVD player were broken. Pool and hot tub were nice. Aside from accommodations, trip was fun
We had a wonderful time in this condo, great space and lovely atmosphere. Only thing I would suggest is adding more cups, 3 is not enough. Otherwise, I recommend it! Also, thank you for the great attitude by the Mammoth Reservation Bureau employees.
Blast from the Past
Coincidentally, about four or five years ago I've stayed at this condo before. I didn't realize when I booked it but when we got there and I checked it out, the first thing that struck me was downstairs in the kids room with the picture on the wall that said "Home is where the heart is" and I remembered.
Anyways, the cabin was beautiful. Was almost going to rate it 4 stars, there was a small laundry bag still sitting on the couch and a couple of used towels hanging on the kids room door which might've been left by cleaning crew and is totally not the host fault. It took an hour to turn on the upstairs lights to which none of the switches were working and everything on the main switch downstairs were on. We guessed we had to turn everything on manually-- every living room light, hall light, and kitchen light. Other than those smallest inconveniences, it was definitely not a big deal at all and we enjoyed our stay and would recommend others to this cabin and would book this cabin again in the near or far future.
I do have a couple suggestions to the host...
I think you might need to upgrade the microwave, and bunk beds. Microwave was very interesting to operate since it's a very old model. It was heating food very slowly so we decided to use the small oven. Lastly, the bunk beds where very loose, unstable and one of the security bars were already broken upon arrival and worried a couple of my friends.
Thank you for the wonderful stay!
And a reminder to those who seek wifi-- it's labeled on the modem which is the little box by the tv upstairs.
Decent place for the money.
Pretty well equipped for 6 people. Please add more coffee cups, 3 is not enough for 6 people.
Second floor has wood burning stove. If it is not fired it will get chilly upstairs.
