A Good Week for Three Generations
Something to do for everyone and a great way to get together and spend some quality family time
Beautiful view, lovely deck, wonderful kitchen
Beautiful view with the lobstermen in the morning and late afternoon. Nice firepit (which we didn't get around to using). Lovely deck and large windows for bird watching. Saw hummingbirds and goldfinches. Kitchen was a dream to cook in. Loved being on the Schoodic Peninsula, especially after seeing the crowds in Bar Harbor. Wonderfully relaxing place to stay.
This house, its location and its views were far better than the pictures depicted. Wonderful!
Lovely home, comfortable, terrific view
Great vacation house....beautiful view. Close enough to enjoy Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and to simply relax, east lobster and enjoy the view. Hoping to go back in 2016!!!
Doesn't get any better
Our family and friends visited this beautiful property and we were just amazed! Perfect home and perfect view. The only thing we would change is to stay longer!
Most relaxing family vacation!! My three children spent hours every day playing on the rocks in the tide pools. Great kayaking. Fresh lobster right off the boat at the Corea lobster co op. Chasing fire flies. Hiking trips on schoodic point. Short drive to Acadia and bar harbor for hiking dining and popovers at Jordan pond. Love the shoo fly pie at the market in Corea. Ice cream and antiques in winter harbor. We even harvested mussels right out back. We also spotted seals a few time out back while watching the lobster men work their traps. We made beautiful memories and can't wait to go back.
Annual Lobster Festival - every August
Have you ever watched a lobster boat race? Lots of food & fun for everyone!
Schoodic Arts for All - every summer
Lots of live performances & a wide variety of art classes.
The wonders of Acadia’s Schoodic Peninsula are boundless and virtually undiscovered along the Schoodic National Scenic Byway. Acadia National Park’s dramatic scenery is among the best in Maine, but still quiet and private, inspiring artists from around the world.
