month out of the winter
I t was very enjoyable to wake up in the morning and watch the sun rise over the river. We stayed the month of march 2018, only had three or four rainy days. The house was very nice and had everything you may need. We saw a few deer in the yard, and a red fox several time. Also squirrels were very abundant. The location is very remote, and quite private, on our morning walks the neighbors cattle is usually all we seen. Did a little fishing, caught bass, catfish, bowfin and a turtle. The only small idem, is the main shower was a bit of a challenge to adjust , to have hot water and a little pressure, but over all the place was very, nice, relaxing, we really enjoyed the décor, and all the interesting decorations, great place to get away from everyday life and relax.
Relaxing week-end with the grandkids at your lovely spot under the live oaks.
Even our 9 yr old grandson loved the sunsets. The kids probably ran 10 miles around your expansive yard playing and the yard swing was a big hit! The house was beautiful with the natural wood interior. Very nice week-end indeed.
When you first walk in you are welcomed into a large, stunning open room of wonderful woodwork including Kendal’s handmade furniture. The view of the river is amazing. The kitchen has everything you need. The whole house Is so comfortable and immaculate. The best part was meeting Kendal and his bubbly, joyful spirit. Highly recommend.
One of the most beautiful places you will ever stay!
Seriously...wow. So serene and peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The location is gorgeous, the river view, the trees in the backyard...unbelievably beautiful. The house itself is very tastefully decorated and an absolute delight. Well appointed kitchen, gorgeous deck. Did I mention the views? :-) If I had a complaint (and no house is perfect, so there is always a little room for improvement)--the hot water pressure in the bathrooms is really low, so taking a hot shower can be a bit of an exercise in patience. But that is definitely not something that would keep me from renting the house again. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
Thanks we always enjoy staying at this place very peaceful
