Our contact Javier was wonderful to deal with.
The unit was very nice, the view incredible and the location near the historical center was perfect. Everything we needed and the experiences all were within walking distance. Carnival was amazing.
Great property, walking distance to everything
Great view; location central; loud on weekends but we enjoyed the people watching;
Management excellent and very attentive; only negative factor was the minimal sunlight at the pool. Only after 2 pm
Thank you for your great rating and glad you enjoyed your stay.
The sun factor is a reason that we like to do all our sightseeing, art classes and shopping in the morning walking around Centro and then enjoy the sun in the afternoon with the other Canadians and Americans by the pool, then stroll back after sunset to dinner and/or entertainment in the Plazuela or one of the many other excellent dining or entertainment options in Centro.
Great location for summer surfing since it is in between Los Pinos and Olas Altas breaks. You can see Los Pinos from our suite. The suite is a perfect size for 2 people and had everything we needed. Everyone we dealt with, from the owner, manager and security guards, were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is just short walk to many great restaurants, cafes, street food, and markets. You could Uber to a larger supermarket but with so many great places to eat in the area we hardly ate in. (Although, the deli at the Soriana near the Home Depot has good fresh salsa and guacamole). The building itself was quiet and secure. However, if you go to bed early like us and are here during a festival or the holidays you may want to bring some earplugs. (The pulmonias (open air taxis) drive up and down the malecon playing music quite loudly during the holidays). The view and location make up for it. I tried to read a book here but just kept looking out at the view!
Great, cozy location for 2.
We stayed in this condo for 10 days during Carnival. The owner did warn us that Carnival was happening during our stay and we were fine with that, since we had never been. We had stayed in the same building (different condo) a year previous and knew we liked this location. Javier, the property manager, got us settled. He had corresponded with us prior to our arrival and had a few essentials (paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap, etc) for us when we got to the condo.
The condo itself was very clean and well equipped. Size wise was perfect for the 2 of us. We usually made our own breakfast but went out for most meals. Plaza Machado is a nice walk from the condo and we felt totally safe anytime of the day or night. The balcony was a nice place to sit and watch the street below especially with all the goings-on during Carnival.
We would highly recommend this condo for 1 or 2 people if you are looking to stay in the Centro area.
Lived in San Miguel, traveled extensively around Mexico including PV, Ixtapa and have visited dozens of all-inclusive resorts with my wife and our four children. Last one is in college and now we look for a more grown up experience and more varied activities.
Jennie purchased this Condo in 2011
Why Jennie chose Balcones de Loma Linda
The best food, wine and live music all withing walking distance while still having my private deck and the amenities of a resort.
What makes this Condo unique
Every morning, my wife and I like to go for a walk, either along the Sea Wall or for more cardio up a hill to a lookout point. On the way back, we grab a coffee and a latte from a small shop that roasts onsite and walk 5 minutes and drink it together on our deck. In the afternoon, we like hanging out in the infinity pool and watching the world go by with the Mexican people on the other side. Any night if bored, we wonder down to the small square and take in the live music or if a special performance go to the Angela Peralta Theater or if room, a little bar called MaCaws with soft live music.
