Just steps to Tanglewood Main Gate and Kripalu from this dramatic three-story shingle style contemporary with five bedrooms and five and a half baths. The six hundred square foot great room has a soaring ceiling, fireplace, interior balcony, and multiple French doors and windows to overlook the beautiful southeast view over Tanglewood and Lenox. The deck and screened porch, off the gourmet kitchen, offer dining al fresco and panoramic mountain views of sunset and sunrise. A very unique home based in the classics with 4500 sq ft of easy living on almost 2 acres.
Situated minutes from Downtown Lenox, this country chic home is great for entertaining friends and family, while offering a calm, secluded and romantic setting upon a hill. All bedrooms are en suite for an elegant Berkshires weekend and longterm vacation getaway, year-round. Large interior doors and huge exterior windows create a loft-like feeling in every room.
The bold design is balanced with traditional shingle style elements and reminiscient of the famous W.G. Low House in Bristol, RI, designed by McKim, Mead, White in 1887.
This house was built in 2003 with quality materials inside and out, and includes a three-car garage, a media/recreational room, and fantastic guest quarters on different levels. Top of the line appliances and granite counters in the kitchen, and central air throughout for modern living. It is located on one of the most beautiful roads in Lenox, MA.
Tell the traveler about yourself: We are an architect and oncologist living in Miami, raising our 6 (now grown) kids.
Why did you choose to buy a vacation rental in this location?
Hailing from Miami, Florida, we were introduced to the Berkshires over 20 years ago and have been returning annually ever since. We have family reunions here every winter as a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, while enjoying the rich cultural and historical attractions of the Berkshires.

The house is great and very well equipped. We rented the house for a ski weekend with another family. The kids had a blast in the pool room ( as did we!) and we didn’t even hear them :). We would definitely rent again. Thank you!!
We just celebrated Thanksgiving and my 70th Birthday with all of our family at this beautiful home. It had plenty of room for everyone, a great kitchen to prepare dinner together and comfortable living area with wood fireplace. Everyone had an amazing time making memories. I highly recommend this lovely home and the Berkshires are awesome!

A beautiful home, lovingly maintained, spacious and well equipped for cooking, dining, celebrating. All bedrooms comfortable with en suite bathrooms. A lovely deck from which music from Tanglewood is audible. Luz Elena answered questions promptly and was available by phone if needed at all times. We walked to Tanglewood!!! If we could give this home more than 5 stars, we certainly would!
We loved the deck and "great room" which were beautiful spots for spending time together as a family, having meals and enjoying the view.
Beautiful home. Very convenient to everything in Lenox and surrounding area.
This lovely home sits right in the beautiful hills of Lenox overlooking Tanglewood where you can hear the concerts from the deck while enjoying our delicious meals cooked in a super nice kitchen.
The spacious living room is wonderful for gathering and w really enjoyed the ping pong in the basement.
If you are travelling with other adults, you may want to make note that the upstairs bedrooms have just a double sized bed (not queen) and the second room with the twins offers a beautiful bathtub , but no shower.
We spent a good deal of our time on the serene screened in porch which is even more beautiful than the photo suggests.
Our hosts were super receptive to any concerns and just warm and very
communicative.
This is our second time renting this house and we hope to return again next summer.
