Guestbook comments from the manager

Loved star-gazing, the incredible peace and quiet while still being just a few steps away from it all. ... It's been idyllic in every way. This is my first trip to Arizone and wrapping it up here at your home in Bisbee was icing on the cake.

Utterly charming

  • 5 of 5

This place has all the little things that make a rental feel like home; bedside lamps, fully stocked kitchen, full length mirror. And my bed was very comfy. The house is cozy and inviting and so close to all the fun stuff and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks!!!!!!

Amazing views!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful property the pictures really don't do it justice. Amazing views of the mountains and the town. The kitchen is also wonderful and had everything we need to make breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast and the views on one of the patios. Very clean and well kept. Easy walk down to town and coming back up is a great workout! We have a mid sized car and had no issues with the parking space. Really great home and will be our go to spot for all future trips!

Great views- bad parking

  • 4 of 5

The house was so cute and the views from the 2 patios are awesome. The house is on a hilltop as the name implies, with very little parking, enough for 1 car. even that car is difficult to park due to narrow road. We left the car parked and walked into old town Bisbee several times, which is maybe a 5 minute walk, but walking back up that steep hill is quite a chore. Parking is difficult anywhere in old town, not just this house.

The house is great and to me the parking and walking was worth if for the great views.

Only bad thing was that there is a small parking area up the hill on the way to the house that seems to be hang out late night for young kids to smoke pot and do drugs, which made me feel a little uncomfortable, but no issues at all.

BISBEE, REFINED

  • 5 of 5

We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals in Bisbee. This is our favorite. It hasn’t been reviewed much, because it hasn’t been rented much. Unbeknownst to the owner, the previous property manager wasn’t replying to rental inquiries for several days, if ever. The owner now has a new manager, and I think this is going to become one of the most in-demand rentals in Bisbee.

The property is a real gem. High Rd. has the highest elevation of any street overlooking town. Out of the three vacation rentals on High Rd., this is the nicest, with the shortest walk to town. With spectacular views, it looks down on Castle Rock, Warren Vista to the southeast, and the Divide Rd. to the west. It has a 32”-wide concrete handicap ramp from the parking area to four steps to the front porch. Because the owner occupies the house a couple months a year, it’s kept up and furnished beautifully. With wall-to-wall carpeting in the LR, DR, and bedrooms, it’s much more luxurious than “typical Bisbee”. Originally a miner’s cabin, as are 90% of the rentals in Old Bisbee, it was expanded to over 1,200 sq. ft., completely gutted, rewired, replumbed with new fixtures and framed out for huge picture windows exposing the awesome views. A small third BR with a twin bed, not in the description, accommodates a fifth person. A 32” smart TV with a prepaid Amazon subscription allows watching Amazon Prime movies for free. We’ve already reserved our dates for next year.

Looking for some sun

  • 5 of 5

I had read the reviews before I selected this property, but in no way was I ready for what we got. I could not believe everyone had nothing to say, but good things, but now that I have been there I don't think they said enough good things. What a fabulous find. The comfort, the views, the convenience all beyond expectations. Photos cannot do this property justice. And the area is so nicely paced that you do not feel you need to hurry. Very relaxing and renewing. What a place to re-charge the human batteries. I love, love, love this place.!!!
