About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

** PLEASE READ THIS NOTE BEFORE REQUESTING TO BOOK: The listed 2-night minimum does not apply to all times. At certain times of the year we have a longer minimum; however, we can often accommodate stays as short as 2 nights on weeknights, or last-minute requests, or if your stay fits well into the calendar. For these reasons, we accept short stays all the time. If you'd like a short stay, go ahead and Send Email and we'll do our best to accommodate you or refer you to a similar property that can accommodate you. We will respond quickly. **

This 3-bedroom 3-bath home is large enough to comfortably sleep 6-8 people - that's 6 people in beds and another 2 people on a sofa bed in the semi-private garden level basement family room. Similarly-sized homes in Breckenridge often advertise occupancy for up to 12 people, but not us - we want to maximize our guests' comfort, not the amount of people who can fit.

The home is beautifully decorated and has newly-installed wood floors. The kitchen is clean and fully stocked, just like home! In some ways it's even better than home - do you have a deck with a hot tub and full ski area views? This home does.

Looking for great 'bang for your buck'? Look no further. This home is clean, bright, and smartly designed. Its location is tough to beat - it's a 2-minute walk to downtown Breckenridge, and a 10-minute walk to the Quicksilver ski lift on Peak 9. Don't want to walk 10 minutes in your ski boots? No problem - the Free Ride shuttle bus stops 3 houses down the street to take you to Beaver Run (Peak 9) or the new Breck Connect Gondola (Peaks 7 & 8). This home is within a 3-4 minute walk to a grocery store, ice arena, liquor store, ski rental shop, Breckenridge Brewery, and more.

This house has scarcely been rented, and it shows! It's in near-perfect condition, which isn't easy to find in Breckenridge houses. We are open to long-term rentals, and in many cases we actually prefer them in this house. So look no further - this is the place to bring the family!

Before you ask... Yes! It has secure wireless internet for your free unlimited use. The network name and password will be included in your confirmation email once you make your reservation.

Why The Owner chose Historic District

There is nothing in Colorado quite like Breckenridge. Skiing, hiking, sightseeing, people watching, and more... All within 1.5 hours from the Denver airport! And once we decided to buy in Breckenridge, there was no doubt that we wanted to be in this location.

What makes this house unique

From the house, you can easily walk to downtown Breck and to the slopes. This location has the best of both worlds - close to everything, but you won't have to pay ski-in/out prices.

We Always Return

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for successive winters. It is so conveniently located, well furnished and equipped that we kept returning year by year. It is professionally managed and any and every small issue was dealt with immediately. The owners kept adding improvements each year and nothing seemed too much for them. The neighborhood is one of the friendliest in Breckenridge.

Great weeekend with freinds

  • 5 of 5

The house was located close to town -- Perfect for walking to dinner! We didn't want to make the walk with our ski equipment, but we drove to the ski lift which was very easy! We never used it but there is a shuttle. Great house for a weekend away with friends. They made checking in and out super easy. We will be back!

Outstanding

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for what our group needed. We had 5 people and could not have asked for a better location to shuttles, cleanliness, and home, furnishings. The bedrooms were all very spacious, the living room area and fireplace were a great place to hang out after a long day of skiing. One of the best features of the home is the hot tub and the views from it. We spent hours in the hot tub every day after we skied. The view from the hot tub is incredible, and it was a perfect way to unwind. We had no issues with the property, and it felt just like home. I would recommend this property for anyone who is coming to Breck. I would love to stay here again!

July 2013 Stay

  • 4 of 5

My kids and I stayed at this wonderful Breckenridge property in July 2013. We wanted a place that was close enough to downtown so we could walk to dinner at night. And this place was perfect.

This property is less than a 5 minute walk to the Blue Moose Cafe and Breckenridge Brewery. 5 minute walk to the middle of main street. The views from the huge windows in back, the deck and the upstairs bedroom are fantastic. We enjoyed eating dinner on the deck and watching the sun set over the mountains at night.

I was really impressed by how clean the place was (including the hot tub). We have stayed at a number of VRBO properties around the country, and this was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. Whoever the property management team hired to clean the place is doing a great job.

The kitchen was well supplied to cook just about anything. The huge steaming pot came in handy for our group. Bedrooms were well appointed with plenty of bedding (it gets cold up in Breck even in the summer) The WIFI was very fast. Three of us hitting the WIFI at one time with great speed. Also, the washer and drier were very convenient. Downstairs family room area had a nice TV and a first generation Xbox.

There was a note from the owner requesting not to open the shades in the living room, which seemed crazy. There is a million dollar view out the window, so we carefully opened the shades and left them open until we left. Also, the water pressure in the upstairs bath/shower is very low. The water pressure was good enough to use, but we ended up taking turns in the main floor walk in shower. Also, it is hard to tell from the pictures, but it is a split level. So you will absolutely need to go up 8-10 stairs.

The property manager was very helpful answering questions (we did it all via email). The rental process was all online, which was very easy. We paid $25 for damage insurance vs. putting down a big deposit. This was the first property where we bought insurance vs. the deposit. For $25 I think I prefer this method. If you accidentally break something expensive, the insurance would actually cover the loss.

This property is great for the price. I would stay here again for a summer vacation in Breck.

Owner's Response: We have since then fixed the window shade that was under repair. Now everyone can enjoy the views from that window all day and night. Thank you for the detailed and positive feedback!
