This well cared for home has many amenities to help make this your vacation home. The open floor plan has hardwood floors and a well equipped kitchen with marble counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen flows into the dining area and on into the living room area providing a welcoming space for family and friends to gather.
The adjacent family room has lots of windows providing views of an acre of lawn, shade trees and open space. This is a wonderfully comfortable room in which to watch the flat screen TV, play a video in the VCR, read, play cards and games or just chat with family and friends. There is wireless high speed internet throughout the house.
There are three bedrooms. The first floor has a queen bed, a private bath with walk in shower and a deck with an out side shower. The second floor has a very large bedroom with a king bed and a private deck. This bedroom shares a bath with the third bedroom which has two twin beds. The bedrooms and baths are well furnished EXCEPT FOR SHEETS AND PERSONAL TOWELS.
The basement has the washer and dryer, a second refrigerator and a finished room which can be used as an office. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, cooler and other items are stored here for your use. The ground level door makes it convenient to load and unload these into your car. There is also a half bath and a outside shower for rinsing off the beach sand after a fun day at the beach.
The deck, off of the family room, has a gas grill and a table for 6 with an umbrella. This is a great place to barbecue and enjoy a meal, or start on your tan. It is perfect for watching your gang enjoy a game of volley ball or other lawn game you might bring, or enjoy a morning coffee as the sun comes up. Often times there will be deer eating, geese and wild turkeys wandering around, ducks swimming in the frog pond and frogs sitting on the pond's edge.
Although this home is tucked away from the main road, it is only a half mile plus to the center of Edgartown village or to the town's bathing beach, walk, bike or go by car. We have a great island public bus system and lots of bike paths and walking trails. Both a bus stop and a bike path are at the bottom of Oakdale Drive.
TURNOVER DAY FOR THIS RENTAL IS MONDAY.
TENANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN SHEETS, PILLOW CASES AND PERSONAL TOWELS.
