We hope you love what we have done as much as we do. Completely remodeled loft condo nestled in the forest, yet steps from the golf course. We fell in love with Sudden Valley the first time we visited our children here and have looked forward to coming back ever since.

This cozy little beauty has new flooring, tile, countertops, bathrooms (1/2 bath downstairs, full bath/shower upstairs), a woodburning stove, new appliances and a small patio for feeding the squirrels or hoping to catch sight of Bambi after a long day of sightseeing, boating, hiking, shopping, skiing or just cuddling up with movies or a book. Visit Chuckanut Drive, Larrabee Park, Lummi Island, historic Fairhaven, majestic Mt. Baker, island hop the San Juans, cruise the Cascade Highway, visit Whatcom Falls Park, sail in Whatcom Lake or buy all the berries and fish you can find and make yourself a tempting meal in the new kitchen. It's hard to go wrong in such a beautiful setting. Wake up and view the day through the treetops in loft bedroom with large window.

Walking distance toTino's Italian restaurant, ,100 yards from Sudden Valley golf course, Lake Louise, coffee shop, salon and spa and fitness center, We think you will enjoy your stay and want to come back. I know we do!!

About Lynn

My husband and I both own our own businesses and look forward to seeking out the simplicity of smaller communities and the richness of other landscapes. We love seeking out new adventures that are diverse from where we live and work and where we like to visit and play. We have five children and two grandchildren, five cats and two dogs, and have spent many family vacations renting from VRBO, which is what made us decide to try to see if we could share our new hideaway with someone else. We have done a lot of sightseeing in the Sudden Valley area and there is always more to do than we can possibly find the time for. And the fresh produce and fish in Washington ROCKS!!!

Lynn purchased this condo in 2007

This loft condo was fabulous!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I loved the loft condo. We are a family of four. Our two young boys shared the pull out couch bed downstairs and slept well. We slept in the comfy bed upstairs. It gets light in there early in the morning at this time of year, but our kids wake up early, so this was not a problem. The windows are huge and you can see the stars at night and the huge trees in the morning, right from bed. The condo is right near a small lake with a walking path all the way around whiche we truly enjoyed. We would love to stay here again!

Peaceful get away

  • 4 of 5

Don't be misled by the rather barren exterior. This condo is absolutely lovely inside with a sweet little back deck overlooking the woods. Well appointed, comfortable and welcoming this is a super place for a little getaway. If you love golf it's perfect! and the family run Mexican restaurant at the golf club is brilliant. Very friendly. Lots to see in this area especially for anyone interested in the outdoors. We would definitely come back here again,

Golfers Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Sudden Valley golf course is literally across the parking lot.We enjoyed our visit very much. Very clean and came with many amenities!

The little patio was a perfect way to unwind after a warm day.

Short drive to downtown Bellingham and Fairhaven.

We spent most of our time cooling down in Lake Whatcom (less than a 10 minute drive).

Nice property and looked like the photos

  • 4 of 5

I recently stayed at the Bellingham Condo with my husband and 7 year old. The property looked as advertised in the pictures and had a lot of the basics already covered. There was a hiccup when we first got there but I contacted Lynn right away and she got it taken care of.

Overall it was a great experience the only thing I would pass on to folks with kids that since it is a loft sound carries throughout the whole condo. My kid is a light sleeper so for us this made it challenging to watch TV and have him stay asleep. Also since the pull out couch is downstairs he had a hard time sleeping so far from us in a new place. Luckily the loft area upstairs is really big so there was plenty of space to put a sleeping bag on the floor.

The store nearby has a lot of basics and even has beer on tap. We did some nice walks around the lake and borrowed clubs from the shop to go to the driving and putting area. I'm left handed and they had clubs for me, and the kiddo.

Great place all in all

We had a very nice stay

  • 4 of 5

Stayed at this property over the Memorial Day weekend. The condo was as described and clean. Furniture is comfortable and of very good quality, There are nice accents all over to make this a cozy place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans to allow you to cook your own food. You will find some spices and condiments in the fridge and cabinets and there are plenty of supplies to keep the place clean. One minor issue I had was that the towels and sheets, clean I am sure, had a bit of a musky smell. They may not have dried properly before being returned. If you like to sleep in be aware that the bedroom window is very big and you will get the morning light. No issue for me as I am an early riser anyway.

I think you will not be disappointed staying at this nice condo. I recommend it and would consider staying there again.
