About Mary Parks

Our family loves to travel, having visited 5 continents and many islands. But we especially love to return to the peacefulness and vitality of One Seagrove Place. It is a family tradition for four generations.

Among us we include an electrical engineer and a CPA, both retired - theoretically :) ; our son, a biologist who is a professor at Washington University in Saint Louis, and his wife who us a corporate controller; and their three children who range in age from five to sixteen, and who are involved in almost every sport imaginable! As you can guess, they can hardly wait to return to OSP 701.

Why Mary Parks chose Beaches of South Walton

The beautiful white sand beaches and the gorgeous translucent blue green waters in this exclusive area were not to be passed up. We purchased one of the first units in the building, carefully choosing our favorite location - our end unit on the seventh floor!

What makes this condo unique

We love to arrive at night, step out of the car, take a deep breath, and absorb the sights, sounds and feelings that surround us. Already the trip from Saint Louis was worth it, and we don't want to leave. We greet Tim or Jim, the security twins who share the nighttime position and welcome everyone graciously, and we take just a little while to walk out toward the beach to feel the rush of air and again breathe deeply the nostalgic scents of the beach.

A quick elevator ride to the seventh floor, a happy walk to our private end unit enjoying the sparkling night lights we overlook along the way, and we open the door to a flash of happy memories and excited anticipation. We never can figure out how we had managed to leave, but we are so glad to be back!

Beautiful Condo in Fabulous Location

I will start my review by saying my vacation started a little rocky. Hurricane Hermine hit the gulf Friday 9/02...the day we were leaving. We cancelled the day before, but the owner contacted us Friday morning and said it missed them to the east and would not affect the weather through the weekend. We were so appreciative that she contacted us because we were really looking forward to the trip.

The condo is beautiful! It has everything you need and the views are spectacular! And it's wonderful to hear the ocean from the master bedroom. It's really a plus that the unit comes with two chairs and an umbrella. No schlepping heavy stuff to the beach! The access is great. A one minute walk from the elevator. Location is fantastic. Walking distance to a number of restaurants. And the Donut Hut is right next door. They have fabulous home made donuts and breakfast burritos and sandwiches. If you're going to the Gulf, this condo has it all! Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us!!!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!

We stayed her for 4 nights and had a fantastic experience. The condo unit is tastefully decorated and very clean and light. There were 6 of us, so we used the pull-out couch which was comfortable and with the window cracked, we could hear the ocean waves all night. It is wonderful to be able to wake up and have your coffee on the front porch and gaze out at the ocean view. The water was so clear we could see to the sandy bottom, even from the 7th floor! This was a quaint place to stay, less touristy that Panama City or Destin, and more quiet. Our kids were content to play on the beach all day. Our whole family loved it!!
