About Terry and/or Brenda George
My wife and I bought this property after living in the area for a number of years. In this picture we are relaxing in the air-conditioned sunroom. It is a beautiful area that is convenient to everything, yet has all the charms of country life. We have completely refurbished the entire house to make it modern and comfortable. It has been a labor of love to see our home become a restful and comfortable place to return to.
Terry and/or Brenda George purchased this House in 2010
Why Terry and/or Brenda George chose Cheatham County
We have lived in this area for a long time and feel that there is no better location to visit or live in.

Really enjoyed my stay here. A great location
perfect for our needs
This is our second time staying at this property. We chose this place for the privacy and peace. Love going to downtown Nashville but love a peaceful spot to chill when not around the hustle and bustle of the city. We were happy with our second stay!!
Clean, comfortable, country quiet!
We had everything we needed for a nice weekend. It was an easy drive into Nashville for a couple of days fun. One day we stayed in the area for a pontoon cruise of the nearby Cumberland River and dinner at a marina. It was our wedding anniversary and the owners even left us a card and flowers! The neighboring houses looked a little questionable, but this cottage was a good choice.
Such a quiet and relaxing cottage to unwind in the country after sightseeing during in Nashville.
The cottage was very clean and included many much appreciated toiletries and condiments. The owners live next door and are friendly but respect your privacy. There was plenty of space for my family of four and the beds were very comfortable. My family enjoyed fishing behind the cottage on the river and there are also two docks available for use. All Nashville activities were a quick 25-30 minute drive. The neighborhood was quiet and tranquil. The owners were always quick to reply to all of my questions and my damage deposit was refunded hours after leaving the cottage. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem! Absolutely loved our stay and would stay again when visiting Nashville in the future!
Quiet Country Setting
We had a wonderful experience staying here. The house was clean and every comfort of home was given. We didn't have to worry about anything and it was a short drive into Nashville (approximately 25 minutes). We were able to find a very cute little country store (Cash Saver in Ashland City) to purchase our food and come back and relax. There is a wonderful little restaurant close by with the best Catfish dinner I have ever had. If you are looking for a quiet little cottage, this is the place to stay. The weather wasn't on our side during our stay but sitting out back next to the river bank was very calming and relaxing.
An amazing time
We loved our time in Tennessee, this lakeside home was perfect for us, out of the city but close enough to be able to be tourists. We visited so many places while here, the johnny cash museum, Johnny cash and june carters burial site, country music hall of fame, grand ole opry, the aquarium restaurant, and antique archeology. We definitely plan to come back. The house was so clean and cozy, all the essentials were there which was great. Thank you for opening up your home for us.
It makes us happy that your family had such an amazing time! Come back soon!
