Newly renovated 'Row House' with comfortable furnishings and antique accents, Salida Style is in a quaint neighborhood walking distance to Historic Downtown Salida. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a complementary bottle of wine, gourmet chocolates, fresh flowers and sparkling San Pelegrino to end the day. Located on the edge of Salida's Church District, just steps from Alpine Park and 3 blocks from Historic Salida's charming shops, art galleries, restaurants and the beautiful Arkansas River. This is the gateway to your Colorado adventure!

The open living / dining area features hardwood floors and a beautiful gas fireplace creating intimacy and warmth; perfect for a romantic getaway or for the family to cozy up in front of on a chilly winter night. The modern kitchen features a magnetic induction cook-top, all new appliances and is perfect for the chef in the group! Salida Style features cozy bedrooms with one Queen and one King bed, and a 3/4 modern bathroom with rainfall shower head and detachable accessory shower head The home offers a flat screen TV with over 72 cable channels and WiFi interface along with a separate i-pod/i-phone dock. Neighboring Alpine Park is perfect for the kids and is home to Salida's colorful Farmers Market from June through mid October. World class bike trails are also nearby along with just about any outdoor adventure of your choice! There is a quaint outdoor area with a fenced in common grounds. The unit has a private patio with dining table, seating and a gas grill.

The condo is 'vacation ready' with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soap are provided as well as tp, trash bags and coffee filters. Laundry detergent and fabric softener is available. You only need to bring your own personal care products.

Three night minimum is strongly preferred, however, two nights may be available upon approval during low season (Sept.-Apr.). Owners reserve the right to accept or refuse three night stays during High Season and Holidays. We prefer full payment online at time of booking. Balance due upon arrival.

There is an additional $65 cleaning fee for all visits.

With pre-authorization by owners, pets (1-2 housebroken polite pets) are welcome. There is an additional fee of $10/nt. /pet.

Check-In time is 4:00 PM and Check-Out time is 11:00 AM. Please be prompt.

Cancellations made less than 60 days from check in date will be refunded if the reservation can be re-booked. You may also wish to purchase vacation insurance.

Rental agreements must be signed and returned by email or mail at time of reservation.

Phil and Kathy bought and renovated this unit in 2010. Phil is CEO of Rescue Essentials,a local company located just diagonally across Alpine Park a short half block away. They enjoy hiking and boating adventures and love sharing this wonderful town and beautiful surroundings with guests.

This property was chosen because of the convenient location to the park and downtown shopping. All necessities are easily accessible by foot or bicycle. Phil has a knack for renovating and this was the perfect project for him to tackle.

Every Saturday from May-Sept. there is a wonderful farmer's market at the park. Bring home a fresh breakfast burrito and an assortment of colorful vegies for the night meal.

What makes this condo unique

Centrally located and close to the river, this quaint row house provides the best of everything. A short walk to local shops and restaurants and close to some of the best local trail heads, you could not ask for a better location in town.

  • An additional sleeping space could be the couch (to sleep a maximum of 5 people). This is not ideal, as it is in the living splace and does not open into a bed. We strongly recommend that there are only four guests.

Quick Weekend Trip

This was our 2nd time staying at Phil and Kathy's property. We really enjoyed the space. It is decorated beautifully. We loved the location- quick walk to Riverside park and all the shops.

We loved the patio out back and the neighbors were the best. Everyone is so friendly in town. We appreciated the portable AC unit- as it was very hot this past weekend.

We will be back next year to attend the Brewers Rendezvous Beer Festival and ride bikes. Thank-you for a wonderful stay! We highly recommend this place. Great Location!

Perfect spot to enjoy the adventure and beauty of the Colorado Rockies. Home is walking distance to town and easy access to many mountain adventures. Beautifully decorated home that puts you in the mountain town vibe as soon as you walk through the door.

The condo is located in the heart of the church district and just kitty corner to Alpine Park. The park hosts a colorful farmer's market on Saturdays May-September.

The arts and sports driven city community is just a block and a half from the front door.

Travelers have the option of paying the full amount online, or paying half the rent plus security deposit and additional fees (pets, cleaning fee ) 30 days prior to visit, and the remainder half plus tax upon arrival. Payments may be online with "Pay Now" options, or by check to owner.

Guests staying one week will receive a discount. The nightly rate for a 7 day stay is $145.71.

There is a two night minimum, but we may require three nights during high season or special event times.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
