A great cabin for a family vacation!
Beautiful and well maintained cabin! Hot tub is great with a nice view! We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. Beds were comfy. Had a wonderful time and will definitely return!
Enjoyed the trip
Great owner easily assessible that adds to confidence of a good stay. Quite and peacefully would love to stay again.
Great place to stay
We really liked the cabin. Some of the roads were a little crazy getting there but we managed fine. The location was very convienent to access smokies, Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Cabin was well equipped and we loved the screened in deck.
Loved it and the location, the hot tub, the kitchen, and the upstairs pool table and arcade game. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Great little get away for our family.
Great location. Close to everything. Great for some down time too.
We always go into the National Park to hike, fish, photograph ect. One trip we were there and I was recovering from a severely broken leg. I stayed at the cabin the whole week while my family played. At the end of the week I realized being stuck at the cabin was ok with me all though I would encourage everyone to spend sometime in the National Park.
This cabin was Great, so much fun
Size and layout was awesome, we enjoyed so many mornings and evenings on 1 of 3 decks. Beautiful views, nice hot tub and cool furniture. Pool table and video arcade game were wonderful when we got locked in by bad storm. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, tupperware, cups and plates.
Of course there are always a few complaints, but nothing that was going to ruin our stay. The master bed was very uncomfortable, I'm 145 lbs and a side sleeper, it left bruises on my sides. We had to fold additional blankets up and use as padding, helped some. I'm not sure about upstairs bed, my kids didn't say anything other than hot or cold.
The bathrooms were clean, washer and dryer was so nice to have, but as I am an owner of a cleaning company for 8 yrs now, there was A LOT of soap scum built up at base of showers and in Jacuzzi tub, leaving a yellow ring that you can feel all the way around. This should be addressed with comet and brillo sponge or degreaser. It is a health concern as well as unpleasant even if it had been bleached. Last complaint is that there were a number of pans in cabinets that had grease and food in them as if they were cast iron, but they arent. I'm not sure what kind of person would put away grossness, but I cleaned those that I grabbed to use, before and after use. A few cups and plates were dirty too, but not as disturbing.
To end on a good note, we saw tons of wild turkeys and large birds hanging out on our hill and driveway. We also had a Momma bear and 2 cubs steal a back pack from the back of our truck and we watched them eat and play for an hour. That was the coolest experience we have ever had. The windy road to get to this cabin is long and can be a bit annoying if your tired, but we really enjoyed it and made it a fun hunt for critters, which we saw another bear, a racoon, and more turkeys.
I would rent again if a foam mattress was put on top of master bed
