This is an excellent mountain home located in Big Bear Lake. It was built in 1994 and is a 2 story 3 bedroom 2 bath with a fireplace, full kitchen, washer & dryer and a large deck out front to sit and enjoy the scenery & mountain air. It is located near the end of a street that dead ends into the forest. The street is sloped such that during the winter kids can use the street as a fun slide area and safely enjoy the snow without the worry of constant traffic. This is a quiet and secluded street where peace and quiet is the norm. It is within a short walk to the Alpine Slide area which offers winter and summer slides as well as horeback & bike riding. While the location is secluded, it is only a nice walk or 2-3 minute ride to the Village where all the shops, restaurants, theater, bowling and all the activities of the town are located. It is also within 10 minutes drive to Snow Summitt & Bear Mountain ski areas.
This truly a family vacation spot for anytime of the year. There is every activity available for anytime of the year..eg..snow skiing, water skiing, fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and many others. It is an unbeatable location!

Great home/cabin for a family/friends/couples. It lived up to the photo's and we found it to be just as described. We enjoyed a wonderful July 4th weekend with our family and a few friends. We walked to the village a couple times, enjoying the mountain air and slower pace. We will be coming back again! Would highly recommend staying here!
Wonderfully close to everything and yet, far enough away that you have plenty of privacy.
Perfect place to bring the kids or just a romantic weekend for two.
I'd highly recommend this to anyone!
The location was great and you can walk to all the places listed in the listing. The house has a nice cozy feel to it. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend the place to family and friends. The house was clean and well stocked of items listed . The Alpine Slide is a great place for the kids to play and have fun.
We stayed in this cabin with some friends this month and we could not have been more pleased. It is close to town and all amenities. The neighborhood it quiet and the couple of neighbors we did see were extremely friendly. There is a roomy master downstairs with it's own bath, and two rooms upstairs to hide the kids away at night. A beautiful fireplace adorns the living room and there is a great deck in front, perfect for entertaining some friends or a BBQ.
If you are going to Big Bear I cannot recommend a better place to hang your hats.
We stayed in cabin in early June. Very nice. Very comfortable. Great fireplace. Walking distance to town. Very convenient. Really nice walk into the woods. 3 to 4 minute walk to Alpine slide. Close and really convenient to everything !!. Great patio/deck. Just really loved the place. Beautiful. This would be great during the snow season. So close to the slopes. But I really enjoy the beautiful forest in the summer and visiting the town and shops and restaurants.
